A Victorian mahogany cased circular wall clock with single fusee movement, the circular brass dial with Roman numerals to the chapter ring, enclosing inscription "Hampton & Sons London", 28 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS Weight and pendulum extent with signs of wear and tear conducive with age and use. The clock itself - the frame arguably requiring cleaning and re-polishing. Some signs of wear and tear conducive with age and use. A little light staining below "6". Two pegs missing from dial surround securing it to the movement box. The fusee movement appears intact and whilst no doubt with some wear conducive with age and use, overall appears in good condition. See images for further detail.
An 18th Century and later walnut chest, the oak top with moulded edge over two short and three long graduated drawers with brass swan neck handles raised on bun feet (the top two drawers with catch released from inside top long drawer) 95.5 cm wide x 53.5 cm deep x 91.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS There is a large split to the top and discolouration to the surface, water ring marks, etc. The drawer fronts have signs of old worm and areas of patching and filling. The second drawer from the base has an area of wear in the top right hand corner where the veneer has lifted, etc. Replacement handles and escutcheons. There are various areas of moulding missing / replaced throughout. The right hand side has the initials "IC" carved in to the top. The right hand side panel is also split in various places. The handles for the top two drawers are very loose and come off very easily. Drawer liners of the three long drawers are all split. General wear and tear conducive with age and use.
