PUNK/ WAVE/ INDIE - 7" RARITIES. A superb pack of 4 7" rarities. Artists/ titles include Fun 4 - Singing In The Shower (NMC 010, A side is strong VG, has some light, visable paper marks, nothing feelable of note. Side B is VG+. Sleeve is nice VG+, has some faint ring wear to the covers), The Pastels - I Wonder Why (RT-137, Record is Ex/ sleeve VG+), April Showers - Abandon Ship (CHS 2787, Ex/ Ex) & Morrocan Coco - One Day (SR 001, Record VG+/ sleeve VG+).
SUICIDE - SUICIDE LP (US ORIGINAL PRESSING - RS 1). An original US pressing of the groundbreaking self-titled debut by Suicide (RS 1, US OG). The record is in great shape with some extremely faint marks on side 1 - strong Ex condition. The centre label displays some light staining but is still in sharp condition. The sleeve is in solid VG+ condition with light discolouration/ faint ring wear and minor wear/ creasing to the edges.
JOY DIVISION - AN IDEAL FOR LIVING 7" EP (ENIGMA RECORDS 1978 UK ORIGINAL - PSS 139). The must-have addition to any Joy Division collection, a lovely clean original UK copy (self-released on Enigma Records PSS 139) of Joy Division's elusive debut release, An Ideal For Living. This is the first pressing with serrated rim and matrix/runout PSS 139 EP A1 EG & PSS 139 EP B1 EG. The record is in glossy VG+ condition. A very well-kept example displaying a small number of hairline/ light paper marks, nothing feelable of note. Clean labels display some light spindle marks around the centre holes. The original fold-out sleeve is in strong VG+ condition showing only a little minor ring wear to the covers and light edge storage wear. A great copy of the EP that 'wasn't a concept but an enigma'... Includes an original newspaper clipping about the release from Sounds August 11, 1979.

The condition is generally VG+ to Ex+.

Silver/ black injection labels are bright and clean. VE1 A//1 & B//1 matrix. Record is glossy VG+ condition, each side displays some hairline/ wispy light paper marks. Picture sleeve has some light edge storage wear and some faint ring wear to the covers, nice VG+ condition).

Matrix: A-NON-1-A LYN 5782-1M DON'T EVER LET IT FADE AWAY MAX/ ANON-1-B LYN 5783-1M MAX I FEEL IT CLOSING IN.) The record is in glossy VG condition, each side displays light surface marks, nothing feelable of note. Labels are bright and clean with some spindle markings around the centre holes. The original picture cover is in very neat VG condition, displaying some ring wear creasing to the covers and minor edge storage wear.
Eight thick folio clothbound scrap albums and a ring bound folder compiled by, and containing large volume of mounted articles by the sporting and countryside author John Humphreys (1939-2012), predominantly for Shooting Times, for whom he wrote for over 40 years, as well as for for Sporting Gun and Countryside Monthly magazines, spanning the period from March 1971-2012, probably being all articles he ever wrote for the publications, each album with some manuscript notes, dates of articles by him to leaves of album etc., a number of Autograph Letters Signed and Typed Letters Signed from fellow countryside authors and countrymen, magazine editors, publishers etc, Typed Letter Signed from Francis Pym MP (1922-2008), dated 18 July 1978, plus another Typed Letter from his office, both on Parliament headed paper, plus some other relevant material loosely inserted (9).From the estate of John Humphreys (1939-2012), distinguished sporting and countryside author who wrote for Shooting Times for more than 40 years – for much of that time contributing the weekly ‘Country Gun’ column. He was a much loved character of the shooting community who dedicated his life to the promotion of shooting, fishing and the countryside.
