The two piece 141/4Ó back in maple of handsome middle width curl slightly descending to the flanks with matching ribs and scroll, the later neck being of narrow curl, and with amber colour varnish over a yellow ground. With two violin bows, both late 19th Century German with pernambuco wood sticks, one having a silver mounted frog and two ring adjuster, the other bearing a spurious Sartory brand and having a nickel mounted frog. In a rosewood case with inlaid banding.
