A high purity gold (tests 14ct) Egyptian Revival scarab beetle swivel ring. The eyes set with small round cut emeralds, the head swivels to reveal a hieroglyphic seal, size N, 5.0g.General wear all over the ring, acid test marks on the inner part of the shank and scarab beetle from metal testing, can be polished off. One of the emerald stones is heavily damaged with no more facets, the other is heavily abraised with large chip on the side of the table facet. Could be early 20th century, no hallmarks.

CHAUMET - A good high-purity gold 2.30ct emerald set ring. The emerald of a vivid green colour and good polish, assessed as Zambian origin, set in a heavy gold matt textured setting, signed in the setting CHAUMET, French assay mark to the shank, size G 1/2, 11.9g, within original Chaumet ring box. Slight wear to the shank of the ring. The emerald stone has a good polish, small crack on the table facet corner of a natural healed fracture inclusion of the stone ,in our opinion. Small abrasion on the other table facet corner. Vivid saturated green colour. Oil treated, in our opinion. Red colour fluorescence under LWUV.

One is set with three pink sapphire, size N, unmarked but tested as 9ct; the other ring is set with five oval cut garnets in a carved setting, hallmarked London 1972, size L, total weight 6.2g.General wear on a shank of a sapphire ring, the central stone has some abrasions on facets and a dent visible with a naked eye. Both side sapphire stones have abrasions and chips around table facet. Vivid pink colour.Good antique condition of a garnet ring, some missing claws on three stones. Garnet stones are abraised, especially the middle one. Good rich red colour.
