A WW2 Interest, a 9ct gold ring inlaid with black lip oyster shell, over lid with what appears to be an oak leaf motif within a decorative rectangular border, stepped decoration, embossed enamelled 1942 to the shoulders, width approx 18mm, possible later shank, size L, total gross weight approx 7.4gms  No apparent hallmarks, but tested for the appropriate grade of gold. Notes: possibly German in origin, with the oak leaf being used on multiple pieces of insignia during the war era. Condition: some nibbles/wear to the shell, enamel loss to shoulders, inner under bezel with later shank and visible solder amendments.
