A pair of George Jones vases of finely potted and flattened oviform with raised neck and pair of ring handles each enamelled by Frederick Schenck in white pate-sur-pate reserved on an olive ground with diaphanous clad nymphs in a watery landscape below a band of stiff leaves, with gilt border embellishment, one incised lower right `Schenck`, 20.5 cm high, gilt pattern no. 5636 to base, circa. 1870-80, filled chip under one rim.

Wartenburg, Paris, a French black marble `equation of time` and perpetual calendar mantel clock having an eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a bell, the white enamel two-piece dial with a visible escapement and jewelled pallets, black Roman numerals, blued steel `moon` hands and signed `S. Wartenburg, Paris`, with a thermometer set below between two further dials, one being a barometer with a white enamel dial and blue `starburst` decoration, the other a perpetual calendar dial, the centre showing phases of the moon with further subsidiary dials showing the date and day, the outer dial showing the month with the inner ring have Arabic numerals showing the `equation of time` being the difference between the solar and mean time, contained in a shaped black marble case with inset malachite panels and gilded engraved decoration, complete with two black marble and bronze side urns with inset malachite panels, height 45 cm.
A late 17th century walnut marquetry longcase clock, the eight-day duration movement having five latched finned pillars and striking the hours on a bell with an outside countwheel, the ten-inch square brass dial having a raised silvered chapter ring engraved with black Roman numerals, meeting-arrow-head half-hour markings and Arabic five-minute outer numerals, the matted dial centre having a raised seconds dial, ringed winding holes, a date aperture with scroll engraved surround and cup-and-ring turnings, with cast brass cherub-head spandrels to the four corners and decorative blued steel hands, the walnut case having panelled marquetry inlay to the door including an arched panel to the top and an octagonal panel below the glass lenticle and further panels to the corners of the door, the plain hood formerly rising but now forward sliding, the base re-built, height 198cm. ** Provenance: Ourletts, Kent (a National Trust property) and thence by family descent.
Bruford & Son, Exeter, an Edwardian chiming longcase clock having an eight-day duration movement striking the hours on a gong and playing one of two tunes, `Whittington` or `Westminster`, on a further eight gongs (removed), the thirteen-inch break-arch brass dial having pierced and engraved gilt brass decoration, with the raised silvered chapter ring having applied gilt-brass Arabic numerals and with two subsidiary dials within the arch for `chime/silent` and tune changer, the silvered plaque to the centre engraved with the retailer`s name `Bruford & Son, Exeter`, the mahogany case with satinwood crossbanding, an arched glazed door, a panelled base with inlaid ovoid decoration, fluted columns to the hood with cast brass capitals and a swan neck pediment having a brass ball & spire finial to the centre, height 240cm. ** Provenance: Rowcroft Hospice, Torquay
An early 19th Century oak dresser with cavetto cornice and deep frieze with hooks above three open shelves and shaped sides, the base with shallow raised back, three frieze drawers, pierced and shaped apron and on ring turned baluster supports to a platform and square feet, 163cm (5ft 4in) wide x 194cm (6ft 4 1/2in) high (the back reduced in height).
An early 18th Century oak and walnut oval gateleg table, with a hinged top, fitted with a drawer in the frieze, on ring turned legs, united by plain stretchers, terminating in bun feet, the top 99.5cm (3ft 3 1/4in) x 125cm (4ft 1 1/4in) extended (replaced section to top).
An Edwardian walnut partners desk, of rectangular breakfront outline, the top with a reeded edge, inset with a panel of tooled leather containing three frieze drawers and six pedestal drawers to one side and three frieze drawers and a pair of enclosed cupboards to the reverse side, between ring turned and spirally reeded column uprights, on plinth bases with castors, the top 152.5cm (5ft) x 98cm (3ft 2 1/2in).
A George III mahogany drop flap dining table with an unusual double gateleg action, the hinged top with rounded corners on quadruple ring turned column uprights, united by plain stretchers, on splayed legs, terminating in brass cappings and castors, the top 131.5cm (4ft 3 3/4in) x 143.5cm (4ft 8 1/2in) extended.
