A Caughley salad bowl or junket dish, circa 1785, transfer-printed in the 'Pine Cone' pattern, large printed C with serif mark, 25cm wide (restored)Condition:Restoration to a break covering just over one third of one side. This runs in an almost straight line and includes overpainting to the flowers and also colour matching to the underside. The bowl does ring when tapped. Some wear to gilt on spandrels.Movement: Winds, sets and runs.Unless otherwise stated, all clocks are likely to have been serviced and/or repaired in their lifetime and may have had parts replaced. A Coalport imari twin-handled cabaret service, circa 1880, with butterfly handles, comprising a tray, 45cm wide, teapot and cover, sucrier and cover, cream jug and four quatrefoil cups and saucers, printed factory marks (tray badly cracked, foot ring broken off one cup)Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.Condition:Tray badly cracked. The foot ring on one saucer is broken. Another saucer is badly stained. One cup had a shallow rim nibble, another has a fleabite and two hairlines. The cream jug handle has been broken and cleanly restuck. Teapot with long body crack and a glaze scratch to the spout. The interior of the teapot looks to have restoration to try and stop the body crack getting worse.No other damages or repairs. See images.

Otter xxx” alongside which he has drawn a paw print and bone. Cushing was a prolific writer to his wife whilst they were apart, frequently using pet names as in this case, and often sending postcards by Mabel Lucie Attwell, this one featuring to the front a young boy with hands in pockets along with the caption ‘It’s “cheery chappie” – without any doubt – wot folks did ought to be having about!’ Cushing was famously devoted to his wife and in later years became increasingly reclusive following her death in 1971 (ex-Peter Cushing collection);Good condition.
