The largest 37 cm long.Note: Birdwoods was established in 1991 and produce unique metal sculptures individually hand crafted from reclaimed metal by a group of artists in Zimbabwe and is fairly traded.
A vintage single stone diamond ring, the round brilliant-cut stone (approx. 0.75ct), within a square plaque between shoulders each set with six diamond points, on a tapering white metal band (unmarked); together with a platinum wedding band. Diamond ring size N, gross weight 3.2 grams, wedding band size M, weight 2.3 grams. (2)
An early 20th century Chinoiserie lacquered easel-back mantel clock, the arched case with decoration against a black ground enclosing a gilt chapter ring with Roman numerals centred by a vignette of a figure on a bridge by a pavilion, lever movement with French escapement (with key). 20cm by 19cm.
A mid-18th century 30 hr Longcase Clock, signed 'Thomas Dicker, Silchester', 10 inch brass dial with spanderals, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, raised on oak trunk, door reinstated with original round glass lenticel, with pendulum and weight, H 193.5 cm. Note clock has been restored with label inside, lenticel original to trunk but not necessarily original to the movement, see images.
An 18 carat gold ruby and diamond cluster ring, of flowerhead design, the central diamond, with an eight stone ruby surround, 3.8g, size O/POverall condition looks to be complete and wearable. The diamond is white to the eye, but has two pin head black specks. Generally dirty. Clearly hallmarked. Inherited by the family.
An 18 carat gold diamond ring, of boat shape, set with a row of five graduated stones, 3g, size L, together with another, size L (2)Both rings are complete and wearable. They show light signs of use and the rubies have tiny surface chips. Dirty. Largest ruby measures just under 4mm diameter. Hallmarks are worn, but remain faintly but we are unable to read them. Inherited by the family.
A sapphire and diamond triple cluster ring, 3.4g, unmarked, size MOverall condition is complete and wearable. The sapphires are light in colour an show surface wear. Largest sapphire measures 0.25 carats on a diamond scale. The central cluster is approximately 8mm wide. Inherited by the family.
