A good ash, ebony and holly inlaid centre or library table. Circa 1850, the rectangular top with rounded corners and broad inlaid edge, the frieze with applied ebony roundels and rectangles, the twist supports topped by open tapered pagodas, incorporating ring turned spires, on an H stretcher, height 74cm, width 157cm, depth 77cm.The top has typical knocks, marks, and scratches, commensurate with age, with a small area where the veneer is lifting.Unfortunately, four of the pagoda bobbins are missing, along with the majority of the mouldings just below these, please see the additional images.The remaining ebony drops, cabouchons and roundels appear to all be present.
