Third table with sun bleaching. Decorative brackets missing from rear of tallest table.

Snuff bottle, no obvious faults. Buffalo, no obvious faults.
Two bronze incense burners and covers, 19th century, one Japanese in the form of a kiku with chrysanthemum knop and on three leaf feet, 8.5cm, the other Chinese, with two mask handles below a rui border, the cover pierced with hearts and with Buddhist lion knop, 10.3cm, base holed CONDITION REPORT: The larger example with a 1cm off-circular hole to the base centre. This may have had ring handles, which are now missing. Knocks and dents to lid and base rims. No obvious faults to smaller incense burner.
An ivory dragon carving, a napkin ring, a brass pendant, a fountain pen, a vesta case and a faux tortoiseshell box CONDITION REPORT: Dragon carving - spines missing from back, an interior split. Fountain pen - wear to lacquer base, plating gone, decoration rubbed. Vesta case - some surface scratches, wear to all high points. Faux tortoiseshell box - numerous chips to base and lid. Napkin ring, no obvious faults.
A pair of duck-egg blue baluster Vases and Covers, mid-19th century, each painted en grisaille with white peony, the shoulders with mask and ring handles, the domed covers with Buddhist lion and ball knops, one lid repaired, chip, 42cm high (4) CONDITION REPORT: One vase with crack running the circumference of the body and with fritting to neck rim. One ring handle with chips. Rim chips and a 3cm hairline crack to the neck. Some gilt rubbing to each. One lion mask ring with glaze chips. Second vase with fitting to rim, glaze rubbing to rim. Both rim handles with chips. 10cm horizontal crack to rim.
A pair of unusual moulded Vases, early 20th century, each with a panel of Liuhai with a ribbon of cash and standing on his toad, the corners with bat and endless ribbons and the sides with elephant head and fixed ring handles, the grounds in celadon, peppermint green and royal blue, one with crack, one with chip, 27cm (2) CONDITION REPORT: One vase with 2cm x 1cm chunk missing from top rim corner. Small chips to foot rim. Glazing missing to left hand side elephant trunk handle. Small section missing to opposite elephant trunk handle. Second vase, small amount of glaze missing to elephant trunk handle. Small amount of enamel decoration missing to foot rim. A crack to base.
A famille rose Vase, Republic Period, enamelled with panels of male and female figures in gardens, reserved on a complex ground of scrolling lotus above pale yellow, the shoulders with red and gold lion mask and ring handles below pink bamboo leaves, red six character seal mark of Qianlong, 20cm, wood stand (2) CONDITION REPORT: Slight rubbing to gilt rim.
Other Scholars' Objects A good Jadeite Finger Ring, 19th century, the stone of flocculated pale green and suffused on one side a brilliant emerald and carved with a shou amongst clouds, 2.5 x 3cm For similar, but plain, jadite ring see: Later Chinese Jades, Asian Art Museum, San Francisco, 2007, no. 21, where it is pointed out that the form is based on Neolithic originals worn by archers to protect their fingers from bow strings, hence the current term. However, when copies were made during the Qing, they were worn by noblemen for display. CONDITION REPORT: No obvious faults. Provenance: as per catalogue.
A complex grey-green stone Carving, modern, in the form of an archaic vase and cover with dragon head handles and knop, supported on the back of two further dragons, loose ring handles, tiny chips, 20cm, wood stand (3) CONDITION REPORT: The Kylin lid has been restored and glued, both handles to lid missing. Chip to both right hand side dragon mouth's. The upper dragon missing a link beneath its mouth. Ring to lower dragon restored. Left hand side dragon lower link has been broken and glued. Right and side dragon far left claw missing. Underside has chips to both dragons rear feet. Upper right hand dragon has small section missing from ear.
