The diamonds are al;l present, however one of the rose cut diamonds to the shoulder appears chipped and it doesn't fill the whole setting, the shank has been resized, there is some light wear to the setting commensurate with age and use. An French Art Nouveau early 20th century amethyst dress ring, circa 1900, the mixed cut amethyst with a trio of claws to each canted corner, the claws to tapered fan like panels with a scalloped gallery between, the shank numbered 700 with rubbed French poincons, finger size K, 9.1g grossCondition Report: There is wear and some thinning to the claws, particularly the middle claws, one claw has had the tip worn back, although the stone is still secure, the shank has wear from use, there are the faint rubbed remains of the makers mark and gold standard marks, there are also some further polished knocks to the shank towards the shoulders, Numbered 700 on the inside of the shank, sadly no signature. A 1940s silver lamb ring by Mosheh Oved, the stylised new-born lamb with hammered coat and bulbous gold eyes, inscribed with Hebrew to the base reading Where is the house of my father, finger size M, 26g The lamb ring was the first in a series of lost wax cast zoomorphic rings made by Mosheh Oved (1885-1958) in the 1940s. It was modelled in the basement of Oved's Cameo Corner shop in London during The Blitz in World War II. As he focused on the modelling the ring, Mosheh Ovid was able to steady his trembling hands away from the turmoil of the Battle fo Britain raging in the air above. The crest finial for Cockes, Cokes, Maynor, Minors, Mynors, Rowed, Shattock and Tawke.Condition Report: Mark to base is clear and readable, the cover appears unmarked. Cover sits well. The whole does not wobble on a flat surface. Decoration is all crisp. Slight surface scuffs and scratches, no bruises or dents.
