An Irish steel barrelled flintlock blunderbuss by Fowler, Dublin, 32” overall, half octagonal swamped barrel 16½”, the breech engraved “Dublin” and stamped with Dublin Castle registration number; slightly rounded stepped lock with ring neck cock, the plate engraved with simple leaf designs and “Fowler”; walnut fullstock with plain brass military style mounts. An Irish steel barrelled flintlock blunderbuss with top spring bayonet by Trulock, Dublin, 31½” overall, heavy swamped twist barrel 16”, with octagonal breech stamped “Trulock Dublin” and with Dublin registration number, the 14” spring bayonet released by thumb catch on the breech tang; flat stepped lock with ring neck cock, raised pan and roller on frizzen spring, the plate stamped “Trulock”; walnut fullstock with plain brass military style mounts and original brass tipped wooden ramrod with steel worm.
