Split to the base. Wear to the silvering. Unknown whether working or not.

A Haenel Model 100 multi shot smooth bore air pistol, .174" calibre (4.4mm lead balls), the ring at the base of the grip releases the backstrap cocking lever, the top of the air cylinder marked "HAENEL MOD 100-DRP", one piece wooden grip with impressed chequering and white metal medallions, the base of the grip stamped "I 6.39" (date) and "Made in Germany". GWO & C, retaining much original blued finish (a few small score marks). £100-150

Small chip to stock at tail of lock.

Small split to sideplate area.
AN UNIDENTIFIED SIX-SHOT .28 CALIBRE RING TRIGGER SELF COCKING PERCUSSION REVOLVER, c.1845 - 1855, rounded frame with simple border engraving, Cooper-type ring trigger, 9cm tapered barrels all cut from a single block of steel, two-piece bag-shaped walnut grips. Retaining approximately half its original blued finish evenly overall. Note: the grip shape, grip screw cups, and the absence of proof-marks all suggest a possible American origin.

For the Argentinian market this piece was retailed by Paris of Buenos Ayres and bears the Lefaucheux stamp.
