EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY SOFA TABLE, having curved angles to the two drop flaps, two cockbeaded freize drawers with turned knobs and opposing dummies, standing on end supports with fluted sabre legs, ring turned stretcher and foliate brass cups and castors. 60" Wide x 25.5" Deep x 29" High.
A GEORGE V SILVER SAUCE BOAT, with scalloped rim, by B.B.S.Ltd Birmingham 1927. Together with a Victorian shell shaped dish on three shell feet by the Atkin Brothers Sheffield 1886, a small silver box and cover by G.N.R.H. Chester 1908 and an engraved silver napkin ring, makers mark indistinct, Chester 1900. Weight in total 7oz. (4)
AN OVAL VICTORIAN JET LOCKET, engraved to the front with a stylised foliate motif within faceted border, polished smooth to the reverse with metal ring and faceted jet loop. Together with a photograph locket shaped as a horseshoe, the front set with an engraved peice of banded agate within gold frame inset with diamond chips (one missing) and a 15ct gold Victorian Etruscan revival bar brooch set with three small diamonds. Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe R.A., R.E., A.R.C.A.(Lond) (1901-1979). "Ring of Fallow Bucks". Signed, extensively inscribed on an exhibition label verso, pencil and watercolour, 44cm by 59.5cm, Provenance: The Wildlife Art Gallery, 97 High Street, Lavenham, Suffolk, Born at Langley, Macclesfield, won a scholarship to Macclesfield School of Art and Manchester School of Art 1915 -1921, and a Royal Exhibition Scholarship to the Royal College of Art in 1921, gaining his diploma in painting in 1923. His work was purchased by the British Museum, the Harris Museum and Art Gallery, Preston and for overseas collections. Won the Gold Medal of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds in 1975..
