The walnut case enriched with carved & gilded embellishments; the cavetto moulded dome top surmounted by a Rococo cartouche and trailing foliage; the canted sides headed by shell crests festooned in pendant garlands; the base adorned with scrolling husk flowers and raised on turned & ebonised feet 20½ ins (52 cms) in height.
