A set of six George IV mahogany dining chairs, with scroll and anthemion mid bars and ring turned legs, H 81cmCondition Report: The joints are firm on all the chairs and there is wear and old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. They are very useable.On closer inspection most of the chairs have been re-tipped to their feet, some to about 12cm in. This is has been very professionally done and you need to look closely to see the restoration. One chair has an old repair to its right upright where it meets the seat edge. One or two old repairs to the tops of the uprights where they scroll back.
