A quantity of rose quartz jewellery, comprised of a bracelet, a circular brooch, a pendant, a single stone ring and two pairs of stud earrings.We are pleased to be offering this lot from the stock of family run firm Shipton and Co., who were based in Hastings White Rock area, and who were unfortunately forced to close their doors in 2014 after a section of the rock face above collapsed onto their shop, making the building unsafe. The subtle hues of rose quartz are though to be due to the presence of small amounts of titanium. It is microscopic mineral inclusions that give it it's characteristic cloudy translucence, and it's colour can range from a near white to a deep rose-pink. It is thought by some to promote love and that wearing it can relieve anger, tension, guilt, grief and fear, dispelling negativity and promoting calmness and reassurance.
