W632, diameter 28cm, a floral and leaf hand painted jug, patter E/0354, and a Susie Cooper Productions butter dish, abstract and leaf decoration, pattern E/194 (5). CONDITION REPORT The black fruit decorated plate crazed throughout as such short dull ringPolychrome floral Gray's pottery plate crazed throughout as such short dull ringFox decorated plate crazed throughout as such short dull ringCockerel plate more pronounced ring, less extensive crazing, crazing to the reverse more pronounced with some extended crazing lines, very dirty and dusty and in need of cleaning lustre is somewhat diminished in its current condition, Jug extensively crazed with no ring whatsoeverDish base with a chip repair, heavily crazed some crazing line running towards and becoming hairline, lid similar again with crazing line running toward becoming hairline cracks, small nibbles and fritting to interior rim. In general terms rubbing to decoration to varying degrees and heavy dust and dirt throughout this lot.The chicken plate is marked 'A E Gray Ltd England' 'Gloria Lustre' with a black and orange sun motif, hand written number 5152 and decorator's initials, possibly 'JAJ'. The fox plate has some faint scratches and possible pitting to the lustre, it is dirty and needs a good clean.

ROYAL WORCESTER; a matched set of three porcelain cabinet display plates decorated by Richard Sebright, with hand painted fruit still life within blue and pink borders of gilt scrolls, shells and flora, each signed in puce lower right, diameter of each 23cm, marked with puce factory backstamp to the reverse, one also with retailer's mark of Maple & Co London, c1920s (2). CONDITION REPORT Both plates ring true, some marks and rubbing to gilt in places, the peach decorated example with a noticeable blemish over the gilt cavetto section in numerous places, both plates have some light glaze pitting as well as inclusions visible, peach plate with a small patch of wither kiln grit or inclusion to the front of the plate and a visible 1cm glaze scratch to the white sectionthe peach plated also with a small scratch resulting in paint loss to one of the vine leaves.

Lot 3

A George III mahogany kneehole writing desk with string inlaid lift-up top enclosing a multi-section fitted interior, many sections with mahogany covers with strung borders and brass ring handles, over false drawer front, a small slide-out pen tray with shaped apron over recessed cupboard enclosing a single shelf, the cupboard door with cross-banded border and inset oval shell decor, flanked by three small drawers with brass swing handles, to bracket feet, 80 x 91 x 60cm. CONDITION REPORT Some of the veneered border on top is wrinkled and split in some places, some of the joints on the top are smiling. There are some old age-related splits to the right and left hand sides, as to be expected. The internal fitted area possibly missing a middle slide section. Missing screws to the hinge. The back shows a repair to the bracket foot. Overall, a good piece of furniture, which just needs some slight attention to get it to showroom condition.Key available in office

Lot 60

WILLIAM MOORCROFT; a 'Claremont' pattern baluster shaped jug with yellow and red toadstools on a green and blue ground, with blue ground interior, on waisted multi-ring root, impressed and signed to the underside, height 14cm. CONDITION REPORT Examined under a UV light, the body has plenty of crackle to the glaze, as expected. There is a faint hairline to the underside of the spout, hard to see with the naked eye. Otherwise, there are no apparent repairs or chips. Circa 1930s.

A George V hallmarked silver teapot, Joseph Gloster Ltd, Birmingham 1920, a Victorian hallmarked silver serving spoon, Sheffield 1876, a hallmarked silver napkin ring, Birmingham 1931, combined approx 20.1ozt (3).

A Columbian silver (0900 grade) beaker with hammered effect sides, height 10cm, a Columbian silver double candlestick with Aztec-themed finial to the middle baluster column, on conical ring base, marked AM over 0900, height 25cm, width 33cm, a silver coin inset tastevin, unmarked and a Birmingham hallmarked silver napkin ring, combined approx 16.5ozt. (4). CONDITION REPORT The rim at the top of the beaker has a couple of nicks, the foot is badly misshapen. The candlestick is in need of a clean, there is a patina on it, but no apparent signs of damage. There is a small indent to the underside of the tastevin, otherwise it appears fine. The napkin ring has some dents to the body.
