The first work is “The History of the Reformation of the Church of England”, part 1 covers Henry 8th, 4th edition, 1715, full leather, and part 2 covers Queen Elizabeth, 1st edition, 1681, full decorated leather. The second work is “History of His Own Time”, book one covers the period up to 1660, dated 1724, in panelled calf, spine relaid, with book two going on to the reign of Queen Anne, 1734, modern quarter binding with an added note in manuscript on the title page reverse stating that the manuscript originals for these would be placed in the “Cotton Library”, with a signature of “G Burnett”? The title page has been repaired. (4)
