  Thomas D Mangelsen (American wildlife photographer and cinematographer), after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in biology from Doane College in Nebraska and a postgraduate study in Zoology and Wildlife biology at the State University, he continued his photography studies at the Colorado’s Mountain Research Station in the 1970s.  In 1978 he and his brother opened a Nature Gallery in Jackson Wyoming to sell limited edition prints of his photographs, the first gallery of many to be opened in the USA.  Mangelsen was nominated for an Emmy award for his work for the television Special Flight of the Whooping Crane and in 2011 he was named the 2011 Conservation Photographer of the Year by Nature’s Best Photography and has received the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award amongst other awards.  Examples of his work are held in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and in many other museums and private collections   Thomas Mangelsen, Indian Summer, Alaska, framed picture, limited edition photograph, 48 x 21

Michael English, British 1941-2009 (Illustrator), a limited edition signed first print entitled "The Pack" no. 0/50, approx 85 x 50 cms. Note: Michael English (Illustrator) was best known for his poster designs in the 1960's in partnership with Nigel Weymouth and their design company Hapshash and the Coloured Coat. Later in his career, he moved away from psychedelic work and concentrated on his hyper realist work employing the air brush. In the mid to late 1970's to 1980's, he focussed more keenly on machine paintings which are highly detailed sections of 'planes, trains and trucks.'
