'The Times' London, Thursday, November 7, 1805. An original copy containing Dispatches from Vice Admiral Collingwood featuring a detailed account of the Battle of Trafalgar and the death of Nelson transmitted by the Admiralty. There are also lists of killed and wounded and an account of Nelson's last moments. Together with an original copy of 'The Daily News, London, Wednesday, January 21, 1846' being the first edition to be edited by Charles Dickens and featuring an article by him entitled 'Travelling Letters'. Both items 'double glazed' (!) and framed. CONDITION REPORT: Slight loss along creases of a fold o/w vg.
