Sexl 1948. - Erste Ausgabe der ersten Buchveröffentlichung Paul Celans - Mit dem Erstdruck des berühmten Gedichts Todesfuge - Eines von nur sehr wenigen Exemplaren, da Celan fast die gesamte Auflage vernichten ließ - Mit 17 eigenhändigen Korrekturen Celans erster Gedichtband zählt zu den seltensten Werken der modernen Weltliteratur, da der Autor die Auflage kurz nach Erscheinen wegen zahlreicher Druckfehler vernichten ließ. Noch vor seiner Übersiedlung nach Frankreich Ende Juni 1948 vertraute Celan die letzten notwendigen Korrekturen seinen Freunden an und hielt wenig später in Paris das Ergebnis in den Händen. 'Wie groß war mein Entsetzen, als ich es bekam .. Das Buch erschien voller Druckfehler, mit zwei Illustrationen eines Freundes [Edgar Jené], der es nicht unterlassen konnte, mein Buch mit zwei Beweisen äußerster Geschmacklosigkeit zu versehen .. Ich war gezwungen, telegraphisch zu veranlassen, das Buch aus dem Verkehr zu ziehen' (Brief an Max Rychner vom 24.10.1948). Bis 1952 wurden fünf Pflichtexemplare der mißglückten Ausgabe an Bibliotheken verteilt und neun Exemplare wurden verkauft, die restliche Auflage (320 Exemplare) wurde eingestampft. - Unser Exemplar hs. numeriert als Nr. 8. Die Korrekturen in schwarzer Tinte stammen von Celan selbst, auch wurden die genannten Lithographien von ihm entfernt. Ferner sind 6 Seitenzahlen mit blauem Kugelschreiber eingekreist, diese sollten vermutlich Seiten mit Korrekturen anzeigen. One of only very few copies, as the enraged author had the edition destroyed shortly after publication due to numerous printing errors. This copy with 17 autograph corrections. Possibly he also removed the two lacking lithographs by E. Jené, which Celan described as evidence of extreme insipidity. 1978 Porsche 911 SC / RS Inspired Lightweight Transmission: manualMileage:500The Porsche 911 is the flagship car of the German manufacturer. It has a distinctive design, rear-engined, with independent rear suspension, an evolution of the swing axle on the Porsche 356. Since its introduction in 1963, the 911 has undergone continuous development although the basic concept has remained little changed. Throughout its lifetime, the 911 has been modified by private teams and by the factory itself for racing, rallying and other forms of competition and is among the most successful competition cars ever. The earliest edition of the 911 had a flat six engine in the €˜boxer' configuration, similar to the 356, air-cooled, rear-mounted and displaced 1991cc. It was mated to a four or five-speed manual €˜Type 901' gearbox. Built over a three period and only finished earlier this year, this fantastic, one of a kind 911 was built for the vendor, a well-known historic 911 racer. Based upon a 1978 911 SC, this project was overseen by renowned Porsche specialist Steve Monk of Bodywerks, Iver and Wrightune based in Oxfordshire. The plan was  to build the ultimate classic roadgoing 911, taking the experience gained by both the vendors years of racing, Steve Monk's and Wrightune's decades of experience building and racing, to build a car that is both comfortable on a tour but also with uprated and capable handling. Headline figures weren't the aim here, nor was the plan to create something with lots of trinkets adorning it. The idea was to make a lightweight, great handling car that had uprated power, but run through carburettors for both great throttle response and glorious intake sound.First registered in February 1978, this very early 911 SC was originally delivered to Glen Henderson Motors, Ayr, Scotland and must be one of the very first in the UK. Steve Monk rebuilt the car from the ground up with the shell receiving attention to the floor pan, new inner and outer sills, new wings front and rear with the rear arches re-shaped to create a more  subtle wider stance. Whilst in a bare state, he also reinforced and lightened the shell and added new SC/RS style lightweight bumpers. The original period style black and cork trim was retained and restored, including the leather seats, the only hint to the car's performance being a new Heigo bolt-in half-cage, together with four-point harnesses and a Momo Black Edition Prototipo steering wheel. All the running gear was either restored or replaced, including all suspension with new dampers, brake calipers and discs. The period Fuchs-style 15€ 7J/8J wheels are shod with Avon period-profile, historic road tyres giving the car a purposeful, period look, whilst also complementing the handling style of the car. The engine was built by Wrightune and the displacement increased to 3.2 litres, with gas flowed cylinder heads, 964 cams and Weber 40ID downdraught carburettors, plus SSI exhaust system and a fully programmable 123Tune ignition system. It featured a fully retractable hardtop that was marketed as the Vario Roof, a first for the SL class although it had been available on the smaller SLK model since 1997. The flagship models were built by AMG in the form of the SL55 and SL65, both highly tuned versions of the SL500 and SL600 respectively. The SL55 was powered by a mighty supercharged version of the 5.5 litre, V8 which produced 493bhp and achieved 0-62 in 4.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 155mph (governed). In theory, the SL55 could reach 190mph if the car was derestricted but, for many, the acceleration and top speed is impressive enough in its standard form! Throughout his career his style evolved towards more synthetic compositional forms and a simplification in the use of colour, thus reducing the tonalities used. This work belongs to a period of transition of the artist, in which we can appreciate the landscape characteristics, as well as highlighting the beginning of a change from a chromatic range of ochre colours and warm tones of his first works to blues and violet tones with which he would end his career.A painter who was mainly self-taught and considered one of the most original Spanish landscape painters of the 20th century, Agustín González Alonso trained with his father, the painter and set designer José González "Redondela". After the Civil War he attended classes at the Madrid School of Arts and Crafts with the landscape painter José Ordoñez, and in 1945 he sent a painting to the National Exhibition of Fine Arts for the first time, signed with the pseudonym Redondela. That same year he held his first personal exhibition at the Estilo gallery in Madrid. It was at this time that he came into contact with the Madrid School, and in 1947 he was selected to exhibit at the Salón de los Once de la Academia Breve e Crítica de Arte de Eugenio d'Ors. In the fifties Redondela won a grant from the Catherword Foundation in Philadelphia (1954), the National Painting Prize (1953) and the first medal at the National Exhibition (1957). Throughout his career he combined painting with stage design, working for plays by Jacinto Benavente, Joaquín Calvo Sotelo, Dodie Smith and Peter Ustinov, among others. He also did some work as an illustrator, including a luxurious edition of Cela's "Viaje a la Alcarria" in 1978. In 1996 the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando awarded him the José González de la Peña prize, and two years later the Centro Cultural de la Villa de Madrid dedicated an important anthological exhibition to him. He is currently represented in the Museum of Fine Arts in La Coruña, the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Landscape in Priego de Córdoba, the Museum of Fine Arts in Bilbao, the Camón Aznar Museum in Zaragoza, the museums of Buenos Aires, Caracas and Havana and the Oswaldo Guayasamín House-Museum in Quito, among other public and private collections.
