Collection of 1966-67 season Manchester United football programmes (H+A), Championship winning season, the homes consist of 21 league, 2 F.A. Cup and a special edition for the away match @ Highbury which was the first division 1 match to be televised on closed-circuit T.V. The aways are a complete set of 21 plus the scarce postponed issue at Newcastle United dated 7th January 1967. All home and away programmes have the tokens intact and the first home v W.B.A. has the seasons token sheet still attached, this fine set is housed in a holder with individual windows. Good – very good. (47)

Cup including the Arsenal postponed 27th January and the rare 4 page edition when the game was 4 days later. Also included the Special edition challenge match v Real Madrid. The first programme of the season v Chelsea has the season token sheet still inside, a few with minor faults but the majority are in good – very good condition. (26)

This is his first book, one of 2 issues published in the same year, this with an errata leaf.

I hope to make them both go againÓ, and a typescript obituary of Gould by Heinrich Otto, v.s., v.d. (7). *** Gould`s The Marine Chronometer is one of the finest books on horology in the English language. ÒBegan re-reading and further annotation of this book on 25-X-40, at Upper Hurdcott, Barford St Martin, near Salisbury. RG 25-X-40... [Foreword] * As originally drafted by the late Sir Frank Dyson. His Foreword was rather wide of the mark, and (in one or two places) flatly contradicted the text. I revised it, I`m afraid, with an unsparing hand. He... accepted all my amendments RG 25-X-40.Ó - Gould.
