The Most Excellent Worckes of Chirurgery... , translated into Englishe, Whereunto is Added an Exposition of Straunge Termes and Unknowen Symples, Belongynge unto the Arte, printed by Edward Whytchurch, 1550, title within dec. woodcut border, black letter double column text with woodcut initials throughout, lacks final blank, some old light marginal dampstaining and some light browning to foremargins, foremargins closely trimmed occasionally affecting last letter of words in side-notes and old ink marginalia, small neat repair to lower outer corner of folio A2, old half calf, rebacked with remains of orig. spine relaid, corners refurbished, folio STC 24721. This was the second English edition, the first being in 1543. (1)
