The three fine large format volumes are in quarter-white cloth with gilt titles to the spine. These are contained in a red solander box. One of the most attractive examples of a grangerised copy to come on the market.

First edition, modern half calf, generally a good copy, with the signature of Henry Penberthy on the Wendron page, bound in at the back are 2 unrelated political pamphlets dated 1740, 14 and 13 pages respectively published by T. Cooper, at the globe in Paternoster Row, London, with the bookplate of Charles Thomas, slipcase, published by Andrew Brice of Exeter, 1750.An important copy of a very rare work. William Hals was the perfect master of the Cornish language and was versed in British and Saxon. Part ii (all published) pages 5 to 158 present with pages 1-4 in typescript, 1 leaf page 55/6) torn at bottom outer corner with small loss of text, the body of work with a spike hole mostly throughout, the publishers began with the second part of this work, parochial history taken directly from the manuscript, it is believed that there were only ‘’about 21 (mostly deficient) copies altogether are known to exist’’.

To Which are added, The Laws Made at Truro, 2° Annae Reg,' first edition, bound in marbled boards with gilt lettering to the spine, with the bookplate of William Bolitho Ponsandane an extremely good copy, published by order of the convocation, 1753.The Convocation of Tinners was established long before English Law by Royal Charter since Edward 1st. These laws give ancient rights to the tinners over the County of Cornwall. Stannary law was sanctioned by the crown of the special responsibilities of the Cornish tinners in providing valuable raw material.

Mylne (civil engineer) designer and builder of blackfriars bridge 1733-1811, a presentation copy from the author to William Chadwell Mylne Esq 1781-1863 (civil engineer), probably son of Robert W, additionally with the bookplate of John Blowey, a very good copy, John Weale, London, 1841.Wicksteed, acting on behalf of the institution of civil engineers, investigated the claims of the high pressure Cornish engine and Cornish boiler, against the older Boulton & Watt principle. The success of the Cornish engine resulted in Wicksteed installing it at the East London Waterworks.

'The Lanhydrock Atlas,' first edition, published by Cornwall Editions Ltd, 2010, this book provides an invaluable link with the past, having 258 highly decorated estate maps, providing an invaluable link with the seventeenth century, these documents record the widely held scattered Cornish landholdings of a single gentry family 'The Robartes of Lanhydrock' during the 1690s, though unconfirmed there is sufficient stylistic evidence to support the confident attribution of the maps to Joel Gascoyne, one of the most foremost cartographers of the time, a brand new copy still in its original plastic wrappers.

May, Plymouth, 1840.

First edition, 192 pages, original drab cloth, from the Enys collection with John Davies Enys bookplate, stamp of the Cornwall Record Office on the endpapers, author’s presentation copy to his daughter, a good copy, Sherwood, Gilbert and Piper, London, 1840.A rare and observant, if not amusing account, of a tour through Cornwall, or to be more precise three separate tours. The author seems to be rather taken by the charms of the women of Cornwall. He ends his preface with "enamoured with the beauty and comeliness, the manners and piety of the Cornish ladies- God Bless them!"
