The Reale Accademia was first founded in 1603 with Galileo as its intellectual centre and, after a revival in the late 19th century, printing became a course of study with Tipografia Salviucci directing publications from 1881 and introducing Oriental type fonts into its works. This book includes Sanskrit, Armenian, Syriac, Samaritan, Arabic, Persian, Aramaic, Hieroglyphic, Coptic, Chinese, Greek and Russian fonts.
