Bespoke M240i, Number 1 of 30, built by AC Schnitzer to mark their 30th birthday. One Owner and just 3,000 recorded miles. Cost £125,000 when new!No 1 of a limited production run of just 30 based on BMW's M240i Built by AC Schnitzer/BMW to celebrate their 30th Anniversary This is the 400bhp Essen Motor Show press car Presented in satin-finish Military Green and distinguished by a 10-piece ACL2S wide bodykit, carbon fibre front spoiler, lower front splitter, carbon fibre racing wing with Gurney flap, roof spoiler, quad sports exhaust with black ceramic tail pipes, RS adjustable suspension, and bespoke 19 forged-alloy wheels Fabulous interior featuring colour coded panels, AC Schnitzer steering wheel, alloy pedal set, Recaro Sportster CS heated front seats, all retrimmed in Racing Green and black leather and displaying the ACL2S branding. Purchased directly from the stand at Essen before being first registered in the UK on 01/02/2019 with just one recorded keeper since. Present mileage just 7,253km With an original build cost in the region of €120,000, this 'Weapons Grade' head-turner is on offer at a fraction of its original cost. Simply stunning. In 2017, AC Schnitzer celebrated its 30th Anniversary and to mark the occasion produced a limited-edition based on a left-hand-drive BMW M240i with appropriately just 30 examples leaving the factory. Launched at The Geneva Motor Show that same year, it was particularly well received and was, in fact, awarded Sportscar of the Year 2017 in the small and compact car class. Christened the ACL 2S, there is hardly an inch of the original M240i that hasnt been touched by the AC Schnitzer 'Magic Wand'. The 3-litre, twin-turbo, inline-six now generates 400bhp compared to the, not exactly underpowered, 340bhp of the 240i and torque is similarly increased from 500 to 600Nm. The impressive upgrades include a 10-piece ACL2S wide body kit, carbon fibre front spoiler, lower front splitter, carbon fibre racing wing with Gurney strip, roof spoiler, quad sports exhaust with black ceramic tail pipes, and RS adjustable suspension. The car is painted a distinctive matte/satin-finish Military Green and sits on 19 forged-alloy wheels finished in Black and Gold, the latter colour picking up the ACL 2S branding around the car. The interior features colour coded panels some of which are additional to the ACL2S spec, AC Schnitzer sculpted steering wheel, alloy pedal set, Recaro Sportster CS heated front seats, all retrimmed in Racing Green and black leather with Lime Green stitching. We understand that this particular vehicle was Number 1 of the 30 cars and was purchased directly from the stand at Essen before being first registered in the UK on 01/02/2019 with just one recorded keeper since. The current indicated mileage is just 7,253km.This little 'Military Grade' German 'rocket-ship' is in superb condition and with its distinctive looks and dramatic hue will turn heads anywhere. The ACL 2S is unlikely to be repeated ever again and all thirty have been sold or are in private collections so this is a real opportunity for the serious collector or BMW aficionado. SpecificationMake: BMWModel: AC SCHNITZER ACL2SYear: 2017Chassis Number: WBA2G31000V640102Registration Number: LJ66JZETransmission: AutoEngine Number: 13539779Drive Side: Left-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 7253 KMMake: LHDInterior Colour: Black/Green HideClick here for more details and images

New for 2015, this Special Edition, 'Time Attack' Viper offers 645bhp and 600ft/lbs of torque in a subtle shade of Brilliant Dozer.Desirable, limited-edition of a particularly special breed within the Viper lineage‘Time attack’ models turn things up to the very max by adding more performance to what is already a rather brisk carAmazing 8.4-litre V-10, 645bhp at 6,200rpm, 600lb.ft, 6-speed manual transmissionElectronic Fuel Injection, 4-wheel independent suspension, 4-wheel disc brakesHorizon-bending performance with 0 - 60 in 2.9 seconds and 206mphOnly 2,365 miles from new. Presented in vibrant factory finish Brilliant DozerRecent MOT, oil and filter service at Unity Oxford on April 2021. UK-registered as LJ64 KVZVery rare on UK roads. A one-of-a-kind American super car, serious T/A weapon and will provide endless thrillsAfter a 2-year hiatus beginning in 2010, Dodge would revolutionize the Viper name with the introduction of the 5th generation in 2012. The essence would remain true to the Vipers of old: A large displacement V10 powering the rear wheels housed in a swooping body with a long bonnet. However, all the other finer details were subject to great change. Dodge had the defined goal of turning their once notorious widow maker into a more driver friendly, docile performer. Simultaneously, the interior fitments had to be a comfortable and luxurious place to be. These goals would all be thoroughly achieved with the new car. Every performance metric was increased thanks to 840bhp from the 8.4-litre engine, 4-piston Brembo brakes delivering immense stopping power, massive Pirelli tires glueing the car to the road and an aluminium and carbon construction ensuring both stiffness and light weight. Most importantly, computer aided traction control systems made their first appearance ever on a Viper, greatly decreasing the likelihood of wheelspin. This was a fundamentally much more refined car and would be competitive with just about all of its contemporary rivals. The vehicle on offer, a TA 2.0 specification, is a particularly special breed within the Viper lineage. These 'Time Attack' models turn things up to the max by adding more performance to what is already a really quick car. The suspension stiffened all around thanks to retuned Bilstein shocks, increased spring rates, thicker roll bars, and a carbon fibre cross-brace under the bonnet. Lighter wheels and more powerful Brembo brakes round out the mechanical updates. Aerodynamically is where the most dramatic upgrades occurred. A more aggressive two-piece splitter is fitted up front and the rear received a larger carbon spoiler. The 2.0 TA seen here is a development of the 1.0 package and includes all the features listed plus a large rear wing and canards up front boosting downforce to 400lbs at 150mph. Delivered new to San Diego, California in 2015, finished in a retina-singeing shade of orange known as 'Brilliant Dozer', this left-hand drive, manual gearbox, V10 TA 2.0 Viper has had just two owners since leaving the factory. It was imported to the UK in 2018, registered as ‘LJ64 KVZ’ and has resided in his significant private collection ever since. The odometer indicates that it has only covered 2,365 miles from new and appears in excellent condition today. In April of this year it was sent to ‘Unity Oxford’ for an oil and filter service along with a fresh MOT ensuring its ready for its next owner to enjoy the serious performance on offer here. A very rare and desirable car, especially on UK roads, this is a one-of-a-kind American super car, serious T/A weapon and will provide endless thrills.SpecificationMake: DODGEModel: VIPER TA 2.0 6-SPEED COUPEYear: 2015Chassis Number: 1C3ADEAZ9FV510303Registration Number: LJ64 KVZTransmission: ManualEngine Number: P05045513CB Drive Side: Left-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 2371 MilesMake: LHDClick here for more details and images

Car #001 of just 50 official UK-market Passion Red examples; 11,000 miles, standard specification and in simply stunning condition.Build #001 of just 50 official UK-market examplesA verifiable 11,000 miles from new with just two owners, the last since 2003Full service history, with recent full cam-belt serviceCompletely standard specification apart from s/s exhaust systemFactory grey underseal applied to UK cars still presentSuperb condition throughout and ready for any serious enthusiast/collectorBy mid-1996, Mitsubishi's rallying success began to really reflect in Lancer Evolution sales. The 1996 WRC season brought Mitsubishi, together with a blisteringly quick Finn named Tommi Makinen, its first World Rally Championship drivers' title. The fiercely competitive Makinen borrowed the phrase "maximum attack" and used it to devastating effect.By 1997, rallying had captured the imagination of petrol-heads all over the world and Mitsubishi sold 6,000 Evolution IVs in the first three days of its launch! In quick succession, the Lancer Evolution VI came to be and in the latter-half of 1999, Mitsubishi unleashed a special edition to celebrate its favourite son’s four consecutive WRC drivers' titles from 1996-1999 - the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI 'Tommi Makinen Edition' (TME). The Evolution VI was already a technological tour de force, but the TME had a more responsive titanium turbocharger, uprated and lowered suspension ('tuned to give improved initial response on tarmac surfaces'), quicker steering, a different exhaust, a new ECU, beefed-up transfer case internals, a redesigned front bumper for even better cooling and authentic 17-inch WRC Enkei alloy wheels. Plus, there was a special interior, featuring embossed Recaro seats, a MOMO steering wheel and red stitching. The performance upgrades saw the 0-60 mph sprint obliterated in 4.4 seconds and a maximum top speed of 150 mph. Power was rumoured to be over 300bhp, rather than the 276bhp 'agreement'.Widely regarded as the finest Lancer to wear the Evolution badge, it was now available in five colours, with Passion Red and Canal Blue joining Scotia White, Pyrenean Black and Satellite Silver. Only 250 TMEs (across the five colours) were officially imported into the UK, with 100 examples going to Australia, and the rest sold domestically in the Japanese Market. Official figures show that of the UK's allocation, only 50 examples were in Passion Red, the signature colour for a TME. According to Mitsubishi, it was these Passion Red cars that automatically received the renowned racing decals, known as a 'Special Colour Package' (SCP), meaning these cars were factory-fitted with black door handles (so as to not break the line of the long profile decal). In the world of Mitsubishi aficionados, the consensus is that there were just 212 official factory SCP examples of the TME produced worldwide. The car presented here then is very special indeed. Not only is it a genuine Evolution VI Tommi Makinen Edition (CP9A / SNGF2) SCP car (i.e.1 of 212), but it is also an official UK-market example. This means it was officially imported by Mitsubishi-affiliated 'Ralliart UK', hence it would have been professionally SVA'd and is supplied with UK service books, a calibrated speedometer, an unleaded-spec fuel restrictor, cold-climate battery and an alternator, plus it is individually number with a plaque in the cabin - and not just any number in this case, here it reads #001, making this car the very first UK-market TME - always a special designation amongst enthusiasts and collectors, whatever the car.Remarkably, this very special car has covered a fully verifiable 11,000 miles from new, supported by MOT and service records. It has had just two owners, the last since 2003. The car was previously lightly modified cosmetically under the bonnet, which has now all be rectified and returned to standard specification (the only deviation still being a stainless-steel exhaust, but the original item will accompany the car). The underside has been sympathetically detailed, not restored, with ‘factory’ grey underseal still remaining (this was applied to all UK cars by Ralliart). The car is accompanied by a large history file, with many receipts, plus its original and complete book-pack (including service schedule - see images). The car has just had a full cam-belt service (and a full MOT) as part of its recommissioning.Silverstone Auctions are privileged to offer for sale such a rare and special car, considered by many as the ‘ultimate Mitsubishi’ for the road. Indeed, for modern-classic collectors in America, they can now, as of 2023, legally import and enjoy these cars – what an opportunity! ‘Type UK’ TMEs are hugely coveted and rightly so, and this is car #001 of that short production run; rarely do examples this exceptional appear for sale on the open market, not to be missed SpecificationMake: MITSUBISHIModel: LANCER EVOLUTION VIYear: 2000Chassis Number: CP9A0201151Registration Number: X10 EVOTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 4G63BD2314 Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 11000 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: TMEClick here for more details and images

Sunbeam asked Carroll Shelby to produce one functional prototype and this was fabricated by Shelby employee George Boskoff and sent to England for evaluation. The Tiger was born. After carrying out doing extensive engineering studies, the Rootes Group sub-contracted development and production to Jensen, located in West Bromwich and eventually, production of the Tiger totalled 7,085 cars.According to the Sunbeam Tiger Owners Club Register, this delightful example was manufactured for the UK market in right-hand drive in 1965 and registered to the first owner on the 4th January 1966. The detailed history file includes a copy Bill of Sale dated 10th April 1976 that confirms the sale of ‘EFY 129D’ to a Mr J.P. Bush of Oxfordshire for the princely sum of £570.00. An accompanying MOT test certificate states the mileage on June 10th 1977 as 82,412 miles. Mr Bush was to keep the car until 19th February 2016 when it was purchased by our newly retired vendor as a project. The car had been off the road in dry storage for some decades due, no doubt, to the original matching-numbers engine having seized. The Tiger is now fully returned to its former glory and, pleasingly, retains this original engine together with many other original parts. Our vendor has provided the following information on the mechanical restoration and upgrades:Engine302ci block bored to .030” oversize. 302 crankshaft re-ground to plus .020”. ‘Federal Mogul Sealed Power’ pistons with Moly slip rings. ‘Comp Cams’ High-performance street cam. ‘Comp Cams’ valve springs & lifters. 289 high-compression heads polished & ported with new hardened valve seats and guides. Unrepeatable, 39 miles only on this unregistered 1990, as new, Rover Mini Cooper RSP.Of the 1,650 RSP Mini-Coopers built,1,050 stayed in the UKThis is car number 948 out of those 1,050. Un-registeredFinished in BR Green (RWV) with a White Roof (NMN)39.9 miles from new with four owners, the first until 2013Kept in controlled storage all its lifeOriginal tyres, original fluids, dealer wrap and factory WaxoylAn exciting and, probably unrepeatable, opportunity to own an unregistered, 31 years old, showroom-fresh, limited edition Mini Cooper RSP.John Cooper had been selling his own modified Minis under the ‘Mini-Cooper’ name from the mid-1980s, before Rover’s acquisition of the rights to the brand made it possible to officially re-launch the model. As a prelude to series production, which commenced in September 1990, Rover’s Special Products division built a limited run of cars in the summer of that year. More luxurious than the production version that followed, the ‘RSP’ or ‘Limited Edition’ Mini-Cooper was based on the Mini 30 and featured a striped bonnet, leather trim, red leather-bound steering wheel, wooden dashboard and tinted glass, and was powered the 1,275cc MG Metro engine. The Mini-Cooper’s revival after nearly 20 years out of production occasioned enormous interest and the Special Products-developed limited edition cars sold out immediately. Of the 1,650 RSP Mini-Coopers built, 600 were exported while the remaining 1,050 stayed in the UK. Today these RSP Limited Edition Mini-Coopers are among the most sought after of all Minis. This is car number 948 out of those 1,050 and to date has covered 39 miles from new. It's one of the 200 or so that were finished in British Racing Green with a white roof and the interior is standard RSP with red carpets and red leather-bound steering wheel. A number of these special cars were purchased with investment in mind and, imagine that must have been the case with #948, as it was put into humidified storage from brand new with just delivery miles. We understand its first owner hailed from the Midlands and he kept the car until 2013 prior to two more short-term owners and subsequently becoming the property of our vendor in 2014.Naturally, there is very little history with the Mini, apart from ownership details, as you might expect from a car that's never been anywhere, but that doesn't matter as it presents like a new car, which it, sort of, is. It's still protected by some of the wrap that would have been present when it left the dealership and there is evidence of the under body protective fluid used by the factory 31 years ago. It remains on its original tyres and still contains its original fluids, which would obviously have to be replaced if the RSP was to be enjoyed on the road. The odometer is just about to creep over from 39 to 40 miles although how much further it goes depends on its new owner. Number #948 is well-known in RSP circles and Roger Hunt from the RSP Register is knowledgeable and helpful. An exciting and, probably unrepeatable, opportunity to own an unregistered, 31 years old, showroom-fresh, limited edition Mini Cooper RSP.   SpecificationMake: MINIModel: COOPER RSPYear: 1990Chassis Number: SAXXNNAMBAD010948Registration Number: UNREGISTEREDTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 100699Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 39 MilesMake: RHDClick here for more details and images

Exemplaren der Luxusausgabe in Pergament (GA 900). - Hrsg. und mit einem Kommentar von Otto. Mazal, Wien. One of 150 num. Copies of the deluxe edition in vellum (GA 900). - Edited and with a commentary by Otto. Mazal, Vienna. The Vienna Genesis with the illuminated text of the first book of the Old Testament was produced in the Syrian-Palestinian region in the sixth century AD. "Despite its incomplete state of preservation, it still offers the most beautiful and largest cycle of biblical images. After the extensive destruction of the so-called Cotton Genesis, an Egyptian-Alexandrian Genesis manuscript of the 5th or 6th century, the Vienna Genesis is also the oldest surviving document of a Genesis cycle" (explanatory text).

Marginalien, einige andere Seiten sehr leicht stockfleckig. Handgeschriebener Kurztitel auf dem Vorsatz.(Letters from the fathers and brothers of the Society of Jesus, who went to the kingdoms of Japan, written in the years 1549 to 1571 to those of the same society. In which news is given of the various customs and idolatries of that gentility, as well as fidelity to their principles and success and benevolence of the Christians of those parts is told.) With numerous wood-cut initials. 5 (of 8 or 9) not paginated leaves (leaves 3-6 with dedication and 2 prefaces), 1-315, 1 p., 4 (of 6) not paginated leaves (table of contents). Contemporary limp vellum with manuscript title to spine and marbled boards. - Exceedingly rare nowadays in trade, only 2 auctions records since 1906. - First European printed book to contain Chinese and Japanese characters. Copy from the library of the counts of Harrach with their oval collection stamp "Ex bibliotheca Viennensi" on dedication leaf (5 recto). The Harrach's are an Austrian and Czech noble family and were among the most prominent in the strongly Catholic Habsburg Empire. - First Spanish edition of "Cartas que os Padres e Irmos da Companhia de Iesus", the first European printed book ever to contain Chinese and Japanese characters. For a long time bibliographers had wrongly quoted the books of Escalante (1577) and Mendoza (1585) about China, or the atlas of Ortelius (1584) to be the first publications with Chinese and Japanese characters. This scarce and important work was originally published in Portuguese language as a collection of letters written by missionaries of the Society of Jesus from Japan between 1549 and 1571, printed by Antonio de Marijs in Coimbra in the year 1570. Present Spanish edition is substantially augmented with additional material not contained in the 1570 Portuguese print: Folios 1-30 contain a biographical account on Francis Xavier, the first Christian missionary in Japan: "La vida del padre maestro Francisco Xauier.", followed by "Y relacion de las cosas de la India, que imprimio en latin Manuel de Acosta." with remarks on (in order of appearance) Goa, Cochin, Daman, Ceylon, Comorin, Bassein, Ormuz, Ethiopia, Inambay and Manomotapa, Malaca, the Moluccas, Ambonia, Solor,Macassar etc. Also added are 10 letters (to make it a total of 87), written between 1567 and 1571, and a brief account of the islands of Japan. The letters derive from Francis Xavier, Cosme de Torres, Juan Fernandez, Luis de Almeida, Luigi Froes, Gaspar Vilela, Melchior de Figueredo and others. - Leaves 1 (introducing note), 2 (title leaf), 3 (introducing notes), 8 and 9 (dedication in memoriam to Pope Pius IV.), as well as the 1st (colophon recto, wood-cut with crucified Jesus verso) and last (list of errata) leaves of the appendix are missing; leaves 1-4 Book block with tight cut at top edge, therefore some pages with faults at top caption and pagination; former tear at leaf 146 enforced, margins of not paginated leaves 5-9 and the last 4 leaves with contemporary restoration using mould paper, last leaf with missing edges at corners; leaf 3 with 2cm tear at upper right corner, leaf 9 missing, 10 missing lower part, leaves 24-24 wormy at bottom edge (no text loss), printer's wrong pagination at 29 (printed "25"), 52 (printed "25"), 83 (printed "53"), 163 (printed "159"), some pages with hand-written marginals, some other pages very slightly foxy. Hand-written short title on 1st fly leaf recto.

Konstantinopel - Jerusalem - - Heinrich u. Johann Heinrich Reiz Mirike. Constantinople - Jerusalem - After the title page the author is Heinrich Mirike, however the foreword of the Augsburg publisher Bürglen allows the conclusion that this is a fictitious traveller and therefore also a report, which was written by Johann Heinrich Reiz (1655-1720), the alleged editor and radical Pietist. This is also suggested by Reitz's mostly historical and geographical annotations. Nevertheless, the topographical information is very detailed, so it can be assumed that Reitz himself also made a pilgrimage to Palestine, which is integrated in this text. It includes detailed descriptions of Jaffa (Joppe), Ramla, Damascus, then, of course, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, Jericho, the banks of the Jordan, Samaria, Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee. It contains also an "addendum" on the history and culture of the Ottomans and finally an appendix (pp. 207-224) with an extract from "Peter Füßlins Beschreibung seiner Reise nach dem gelobten Lande" by Johann Conrad Füßlin. According to the preface, Peter Füßlin was a Zurich councillor who had made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 1523. - The first edition of the popoular book was published in 1714 and in the course of the 18th century had at least 5 further editions, including the present one. In 1725 also a Dutch edition, enriched with copper engravings, was published in Rotterdam in a translation by Wilhelm Otto Reitz, the son of the author. - Untrimmed block in an interim cardboard bound with thread and covered with paper in light brown shades (somewhat rubbed, glued tears to the spine and board, corners and edges bumped). - Pasted endpaper with ink spot. Solid copy with wide margins, printed on strong laid paper.
