It appeared in his `Prospect of the most formed Parts of the World`. This was the first map published in an Atlas that depicted California, not as a peninsula but as an island, a cartographic misconception that endured for nearly 100 years afterwards.¦¦Sold with an engraved Map by Johannes Jansson with printed title¦Scotia, Regnum. First edition of the Harry Beck London Underground diagrammatic, fold-out MAP printed in January 1933 with the famous inscription "A new design for an old map....". This is one of those issued after the takeover by London Transport in July 1933 when the remaining stock was overprinted on the cover with the new LPTB name & address. These are less common than those issued earlier. In excellent, unmarked condition, very lightly used and therefore not quite mint. [1]
1877 District Railway MAP of London, 2nd edition. From the very first series of public maps of the future Underground, this second issue is over-printed 'New Route to Kew and Richmond' on the cover, the extension overlapping the map border, and shows the Inner Circle Completion in blue. A fold-out paper map in linen covers, the map appears barely used and is in excellent condition, the covers evidence some age marks. [1]
First edition of the Harry Beck London Underground diagrammatic, fold-out MAP issued in January 1933 with the famous inscription "A new design for an old map....". This is the less common paper version, designed for insertion into guidebooks, and is a superb example: nearly mint with just a slight trace of adhesive on the spine when folded. [1]
1925 London Underground MAP OF LONDON'S UNDERGROUND RAILWAYS, one of the Stingemore-designed series which ran from that year until 1932, this is the first edition with reference 694.11-5-25. A linen-card map and in the smaller size of the early 'Stigemores'. In used condition with some edge-wear and damp-staining where the red ink of the cover has run through to the map side. [1]

WILLIAM PYE - A WATER SCULPTURE entitled ""SIBIRICA MINOR"" First of an edition of six fashioned in CAST GREEN PATINATED BRONZE in 2003. Height 80 cm without base width 125 cm, it includes a wrought metal stand and pump (pump for spares and repairs on ly).
