The undated, probably second edition (1809) omits these pages and drops the paragraph in the Introductions referring to it. Bookplate Jean-Paul Lacombe. Massialot, born 1660 in Limoges, served as cook for the Dukes of Orléans, Chartres and Aumont, and was first chef for Louis XIV.
