Note: the first impressions by Pine were printed on vellum. This is a later edition on paper, probably printed by Pine's son.

First-year H C Beck London Underground DIAGRAMMATIC CARD MAP. The undated edition with no print-code, issued c. August 1933. Refers to re-naming of Dover St station to Green Park and the merger of Holborn and British Museum stations. A few small foxing spots but in other respects a very good example. [1]
The "District Railway" MAP of London, 5th edition, c1895. A large-scale, full-colour map (42" x 26", 107cm x 66cm), linen-backed and folded into hard covers (one cover panel is missing). This is the 3rd of three known issues of this edition and shows Barnsbury station on the North London Railway re-named as Caledonian Road & Barnsbury. Shows London's first tube line, the C&SLR, from City to Stockwell plus the planned extension to Clapham. Map is in good condition apart from some edge-wear. [1]

Facsimile edition published in 1889 for the 50th anniversary. 8 pages of maps and 4 city plans. Hard cover, in very good condition, a little age-foxing in places. Plus 1849 Reid's Monthly TIMETABLE for the York, Newcastle & Berwick Railway etc. Centre-fold map of railways in the north of England & much contemporary advertising. Probably a 1925 Railway Centenary reprint. VGC. [2]
After David Roberts RA (1796-1864) ''Approach to the fortress at Ibrim''; ''The Rock of the Chain and Asouan'' and ''Asouan and Island of Elephantine'', coloured lithographs, published 1847, 1847 and 1848 respectively, 34cm by 39cm, 36cm by 52cm and 35cm by 54.5cm respectively (3) Provenance: Mathaf Gallery, London Nos 81,87 and 98 ''Rock of the Chain'' - Some fading and slight discolouration to the paper, although the impression is still strong. Slight foxing marks throughout with one or two storm flies trapped between the mount and the galss. Surface dirt with markings in places, overall condition is reasonable. ''Asouan & Island of Elephantine'' - Some fading and discolouration to the paper, although the colours are still strong. Faint foxing marks throughout with a large foxing mark beside the mount upper centre - some light surface dirt. ''Approach to the Fortress'' - Some fading and discolouration to the paper with notable foxing marks particularly in the lower right hand corner. Pin marks to the centre of the image. Foxing marks upper centre with marking from previous restoration above the mast of the felucca. Not examined out of the frame. In our opinion these are not first edition lithographs and are coloured lithographs, not hand coloured.
