A C-Type Jaguar cylinder head, 1951-53,used, casting pattern number C7707 C3 RH567, also stamped G6023-8S, BE760MT with correspondingly numbered overhead cam guides, the casting 72cm long, with threaded mounting studs, 74cm long overall. Saleroom notices:SALE ROOM NOTICE:closer inspection reveals this is a new old stock item that has apparently never been used or fitted to a car.A C-Type Jaguar cylinder head NOS, 1951-57new/old stock, casting pattern number C7707 C3 RH567, also stamped G6023-8S, BE760MT with correspondingly numbered overhead cam guides, the casting 72cm long, with threaded mounting studs, 74cm long overall.Jaguar developed more powerful variants of their XK engine to win in Le Mans. The C-type head evolved as a result and sold as a racing equipment also to privateers – C-Type stands for Competition Type. Later with the XK140 it was available as a factory option. Condition Report: Tramp on bench - item (?) away next to bread on bench, hairline visible from underneath. Mounted figure - horse, left ear broken, sword handle broken but very finely modelled overall. Knife Sharpener - damages to wooden wheel support and vertical wooden planks....this figure quite dirty/dusty overall.
