A Victorian Silver Plate Centrepiece, by Elkington and Co., Birmingham, 1875, oval, the centre with four cast female figures supporting the cut-glass bowl, each end with a cast putto supporting further glass bowls, with openwork border, 80cm long. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. Three of the figures in the centre were each presumably holding an item which is now lacking. The glass bowls are possibly replaced. The approximate maximum height is 38.5cm.

A 1920s Swiss eight day silver pocket watch, the dial signed 'Hebdomas Patent', with Arabic numerals, syringe hands and visible escapement, the 41mm case with London import marks, 1927 and stamped 925, the case back with engraved shield shaped cartouche. Condition: balance wheel will move freely but only tick for a few seconds and the item will not be sold with any guarantees to work, hairlines and small chip to enamel dial, case has small dents, tarnishing throughout and age related surface wear, no inscriptions to case, hinges good.

The bracelet is very small, unmarked, complete with safety catch, the pearls are irregular and lacking lustre.the watch strap is not a spring type example. This item has not been tested for gold fineness.

A 15ct gold opal set bracelet, the gate link bracelet set with seven oval opals, with guard chain, gross weight approx. 19.5g.Additional InformationStamped 15c to the back of the clasp. Each of the opals with some slight surface scratches otherwise good. It is not easy to measure the length of this item as it has a guard chain which means it does not lay flat. We have used a flexible dressmakers tape measure and suggest that it might be approx 17cm in length though this is not definitive.

ALBERT CARTER; a George V hallmarked silver and guilloche enamel eleven piece dressing table set, comprising five glass jars with engraved detail, Birmingham 1934, fitted in leather tray.Additional InformationThe comb with a few light chips to the enamel and a couple of light surface scratches, the silver generally tarnished. The small brush with a small chip to the enamel at either end where the foliate detailing sits, other slight surface wear to the enamel. Silver lightly tarnished with some rubbing to hallmarks. The hand mirror with a small blind chip to one of the corners and other light surface patina wear of little scratches to the enamel. Silver surface lightly tarnished and with general wear. Long rectangular glass jar with a few slight pin head sized nicks to the glass but nothing serious. The enamel is okay, the silver with light tarnishing. The hand held mirror with several small scratches to the mirror plate. General tarnishing to the silver and some light scratches to the silver. Rubbing to the hallmarks. Enamel lightly grubby and with some light surface scratches and general patina. The shorter of the slender glass jars also with a couple of very slight pin head sized nicks to the faceting but nothing serious. Hallmarks lightly rubbed, silver with light tarnishing and a few light scratches. Enamel with a few light surface scratches. Small rectangular lidded glass box with light wear to the underside of the glass base. Silver with light tarnishing and a few light scratches. Enamel with a few very light surface marks, but essentially okay. The rectangular scent bottle with circular cover does have a stopper, this item does have a couple of slight little pin head nicks to the glass, nothing serious. The interior with some dark staining from previous perfume. There are three small chips to the enamel on the top edge and two smaller ones near to the hallmarks, these are all fairly small. Widest of the glass bottomed toilet jars also with a few pin head sized nicks to the glass. Silver lightly tarnished. Enamel with slight surface patina, but essentially okay. The button hook with some rusting and tarnishing to the hook section. Silver surface lightly tarnished. Enamel with two very slight nicks at the edge. The shoe horn with light surface patina to the horn section, light tarnishing to the silver, there may be a repair to the widest part of the join where the shoe horn section is attached to the handle. Enamel with a couple of slight little edge chips, nothing serious.

We would expect this item to clean up fairly well, a few of the slight surfaec scratches may still remain. The handles are in good condition.

The box was previously owned by European Judaica and silverware collector Isy Halpern of Liege, Belgium. It is believed that the box was exhibited amongst other items at the Grand Curtius Museum in Liege.Additional InformationSome discolouration to the timber and a few scuffs and would be expected but no damages of loss.

FASE; a Spanish modernist chrome and painted metal angular desk lamp with circular chrome and perspex twin light shade supported on an angled arm and circular base, moulded maker's mark to the underside, height approx 40cm.Additional InformationChrome with some light scratches at the base and also to the shade but less so. The white painted surface to the arm with some scratches and small chips throughout. Some of the chips have been painted over in a different shade. NOTE - The chrome shade is loose where it joins to the metal clasp at the top. The metal appears to have a few splits here, not clear if this needs tightening from the underside or will remain loose?Wear to the finish on the underside of the shade. We can not guarantee that this is in full working order. As an electrical item it is important to have this rewired before use. 

Lot 2301

A modern scratch built wooden heart shaped mantel timepiece, the heart shaped upper section supported on a rectangular base with drawer and rotating mechanical music box to the base, height 35cm.Additional InformationHeavy varnish throughout. The item does smell of cigarettes. A few light scuffs here and there but essentially OK. This was made by a private local gentleman approx. 1983.

An 18th century oak mule chest with panelled front above two drawers on stile legs, height 84cm, width 143cm, depth 52cm (af).Additional InformationThis chest is in two sections. Much attention will be needed as the base panels are loose and not all are present. There is rodent damage to one of the drawers and other wear and losses throughout. Later hinges and two later supports to the underside of the lid. This item will need professionally cleaning and restoring.

A late Victorian pine two door cupboard, with panelled doors on bracket feet, height 107cm, width 91cm, depth 43cm.Additional InformationGeneral age wear, scuffs and marks throughout commensurate with age and use. The top with some green marks to the front centre. The item has been stripped and repolished but not recently.
