Kriegsmarine M-35 Steel Combat Helmet complete with much of its original field grey combat paint finish. Remains of the original decal which appears to be a Kriegsmarine issue. Helmet is complete with its original leather liner and chinstrap. Shell is marked Q66. Victorian Royal Artillery Officers Dress Pouch and Cross Strap, pouch is complete with the gilt metal artillery piece. Bullion work remains in good overall condition. Some wear to the velvet scrolls. Bullion work to the motto is damaged. Cross belt has its gilt metal fittings. Gold wire braid on leather cross strap. Moth nip to the reverse of the pouch but otherwise the item is in good condition.
Extremely Rare and Possibly Unique Standard Bearers Shoulder Belt Plate 39th (Dorsetshire) Regiment of Foot circa 1814, oval unmarked silver shoulder belt plate with laurels border with cut out central garter having battle honours for GIBRALTAR – PENINSULA – VITTORIA – ALBUERA. Inside the garter is XXXIX Gibraltar castle with key below. Reverse of the plate is fitted with a single loop, this is a latter addition and clear evidence remains of where a pin and catch fixing would have originally been present. Item remains in very good overall condition and is extremely rare.
Very Rare WW2 4th Independent Company Army Commando Formation Sign, in embroidered cloth being the standard design 55th Division formation sign with embroidered 4 to the lower centre section. The insignia shows evidence of being removed from a uniform. ** This item was given to Colin Churchill during WW2 by an army commando who was billeted in his family home in Dorchester.

A Friendly match was played between the two teams on the same day. Signed on back by leading Utd journalist Frank Taylor, survivor of the Munich Air Disaster. Slightly grubby, small marks. Nice item. CHESS SET-1966 WORLD CUP FINAL Magnificent, unique 1966 inspired World Cup Final Chess Set. Produced by Connoisseur and privately commissioned in the late Twentieth Century, the pieces are made of resin and crushed marble and hand painted in the colours of England for one side and West Germany for the other. This set was completed shortly before Connoisseur ceased trading and the pieces were designed in detail by Simon Bullock. The pieces can be described as follows, The Kings are 9.5cms high and are supporters of the two sides, Queens are the team captains holding the World Cup, Bishops are the team managers, Knights are players (different to the pawns), Castles are the Wembley Towers and pawns are players including a goalkeeper for each team. The set is boxed in traditional red card with red silk lining and Connoisseur label, and the set comes complete with a board, also made of resin and crushed marble. A unique item which celebrates the 1966 World Cup and is in excellent condition. Excellent
ENGLAND-WORLD CUP 2018 2022 Superb item and it is believed that only 100 were produced. A set of three volumes in the official padded box which was the England Submission to bid for the 2018 / 2022 World Cup hosting rights. Volume 1 is titled England's Bid and has 840 pages with many statistics and photographs, Book 2 is titled Cities and Stadiums and has over 500 pages devoted to Cities and Stadiums which would have hosted the Tournament and includes Stadium Plans, Photographs and information about the host Cities. Book 3 titled Guarantees and Support has 312 pages and lists Englands committment to the bid plus colour photographs of the many letters of support from Official Bodies, Government, Football Clubs and other interested parties. All together it is an excellent item and a comprehensive record of the doomed bid. Excellent quality production and comes in a folder holding the three books and the official padded box to protect the books. Good

Falkland Island Dependencies 1956 set of 4 overprinted Trans-Antarctic Expedition 1955-58 sent on cover to Queen Gate London. The envelope contains a letter on headed note paper The Trans-Antarctic Expedition dated 3rd January from Shackleton saying 'We are nearly there and it's good to be free of the ice'. Interesting item.
A GOOD RHINOCEROUS HORN GRADUATED BEAD NECKLACE, weighing 85gm, the largest bead 1.1in long, the smallest bead 0.75in long. Although pre-1947, DEFRA has advised us that it will not be possible to obtain a CITES export certificate for this item for export to countries outside the European Union.
