A George III silver salver of circular form having shell and scalloped border on three claw and ball feet, maker (?)IM, London 1761, d. 34.5 cm, 32 ozs CONDITION REPORT: Mis-shapended and in need of some attention. With personalised engraving. The salver sits on all three feet when placed on a flat surface but is clearly twisted. Please see additional images. The salver has been bent, when seated on a flat surface there is a visible bowed section in the centre. This item has wear and surface scratched commensurate with its age. There is some minor tarnishing but no obvious damage or repairs other than the mis-shapening.
A part 9ct yellow gold coil type serpent bracelet, maker C&F, Birmingham 1975 CONDITION REPORT: This bracelet has been described as part 9ct gold as the inner bracelet is sprung and so the item is not solid gold. The serpents head is hallmarked. It weighs 28.5 gms overall. There are some signs of wear especially to the two stones set in the eyes. The is a possible old repair where the head meets the body, although this may be from the original production.

There is no filter. Please see additional images.Weight - Approx 3.5 tray ounces, very minor dents and some tarnishing. Remnants of silver cleaner visible, the very top edge ( gadrooned section) is slightly miss-sharpened and doe snot completely flush win funnel. There is a ring lighter in colour around the narrow part about the hallmarks - this may have been left where the item has been wrapped up, possibly with elastic bands or it may be a mark showing a previous repair?

Late Victorian pale oak tantalus with applied Gothic brass mounts, of three square cut glass decanters on an elongated octagonal tray base with opposing sprung drawers operated by buttons under the middle decanter, overall width 52cmCondition report: one stoppper has a facetted taper, the other two tapers are plain; minor chips around a footrim; decanters generally in good condition; brass fittings polish worn; both spring mechanisms working; no key and lock not working (not locked).Overall the item is in good condition.
Pattee form Maltese cross set with pave diamonds, circa 1840, in silver on gold with a detachable brooch pin and pendant suspension, the central cushion cut stone ~4.2 x 4mm, overall width 40mm, gross weight 21.0g Lambert, Coventry St, London box. *There is a verbal tradition that this item is from the Thursby and Scarlett families of Burnley, of which one member was the Crimean War soldier General Sir James Yorke Scarlett who lead the Heavy Brigade. See also Lot 289 in this sale. Condition report: box in good overall condition; cross in good condition; no hallmarks. This lot does not have a diamond laboratory report. The larger stones are averagely clarity SI-VS, colour +/-J, although the stone at the top of the suspension is I1-I2.
Early Royal commemorative ware to include a saltglaze George III jug, a Queen Caroline pink lustre jug, a Queen Caroline sprig moulded mug, and a Queen Victoria and Albert copper lustre jug, also a sprig moulded spill vase decorated with figures, late 18th to mid 19th century, (5) the tallest item measures 14.5cm high Condition report: The saltglaze jug has a crack to the handle. The pink lustre jug has hairline cracks and rim chips, the copper lustre jug has a minor rim nick. The sprig moulded mug has no damage or restoration, the vase only a feint star crack to the base.

His father was the potter and writer Quentin Bell, his grandmother was the painter Vanessa Bell and he stayed with his grandmother at Charleston farmhouse on the Sussex downs during the 1950s. (1)Amendment: The label indicates that the item must have been exhibited at the Francis Kyle Gallery in a show of Julian Bell’s work, where it was exhibited as number 5 in the catalogue.

Isle of Wight George III signed 1779 commission.An interesting vellum item awarding William Stewart the Captaincy of Lansdown Fort on the Island with all the associated powers, privileges, authority and profits in return or his loyal support when required. It bears George III's signature top left and 'Weymouth' (later 1st Marquis of Bath). Faded and fold marks but generally good condition for age.
Victorian 16th Queen's Lancers Officer's lance cap.A scarce example of a pre 1901 Officer's lance cap. The skull of black patent leather with the upper portion of black melton cloth, with gold gimp cord across the top and down the angles. To the left side is a gold bullion rosette with embroidered Royal Cypher onto a scarlet velvet ground. This supports a fire gilt plume cup and the black stitched swan's feather plume. The gilt lance cap plate is mounted with silvered Royal Arms, battle honours and title scroll. Patent leather peak with gold bullion lines. Complete with two gilt metal lion head boss's and soft leather sweatband to the interior. The lance cap with some mothing to the black melton cloth, chin chain absent, as well as the silk lining to the interior. Remains a good display item.
Victorian Hertfordshire Rifle Volunteers Other Rank's Home Service Helmet.A good and scarce example of grey cloth, complete with spike, rose bosses and leather backed chin chain. To the front a Victorian Regimental pattern helmet plate bearing the title to the strap, "Hertfordshire Rifle Volunteers" The plate retains original scarlet cloth backing material. The interior with leather sweatband. The helmet with some age wear and drying to the leather. One or two small moth holes and nips. Remains a good display item

WW2 RAF Escape and Evasion Tunic Button CompassA rare attributed example appertaining to be an ordinary tunic button. When the base section is unscrewed opens to reveal a concealed compass. The compass with early four holed pattern compass rose and with early pattern screw thread. GCThe button has been passed through the vendor's family and is attributed to Flying Officer G.W. Napoleonic War Period 18th Century Officer's Spadroon.This example with single edged 32 inch straight blade. The hilt with a single bar steel guard, the cross guard of two bars with a diamond between. The grip of dark ebony wood with reeded decoration. Scabbard absent. The sword has been cleaned and polished, remains a good display item.

Very good , inevitably a few of the larch spicules are missing but this very fragile masterpiece is otherwise in very good condition. Note. MCCARTNEY PAUL: (1942- ) English Singer & Songwriter, a member of The Beatles. Blue ink signature ('All the best! Paul McCartney') to the verso of a colour picture postcard of Fanhams Hall in Ware, Hertfordshire. Also signed and inscribed by Linda McCartney (1941-1998) American Musician & Photographer, first wife of Paul McCartney. Some very light, extremely minor corner creasing, VGProvenance: According to information supplied by the vendor, the signatures of Paul and Linda McCartney were obtained in person by her at a chance meeting with the former Beatle and his wife at Ashford train station in Kent in late 1976 or early 1977. The only item the vendor had to hand which was appropriate for signing was the present postcard of Fanhams Hall which, at the time, was the headquarters of the Chartered Building Societies Institute and where the vendor would teach residential courses. During their conversation, Linda enquired about the vendor's young children, adding their names as an inscription.

LCC Tramways METAL CONTAINER 'Bye Laws & Board of Trade' containing a 1929 issue of the BOOKLET 'Statutory Rules & Orders' 1912-1928 with 1933 addendum and complete with original chain for securing in the tram.
