Wang Bingrong was a notable potter specializing in porcelain with carved decoration, almost like ivory carvings, active in the Tongzhi to Guangxu periods (1862-1908).Height: 5 1/2 in x diameter: 3 1/2 in.Condition: There are no visible cracks, losses, or chips. There are minute firing flaws throughout that are original to the item. The underside has wear, consistent with age and use. There are no signs of restoration under UV light.

Chinese neolithic Siwa culture handled pottery jar. With a two applied handles reaching from the shoulder to the rim of the saddle mouth. With a large black burnished area along one side of the jar. Small incised decorations along the base of the handles.This item has been thermoluminescence tested and the date of the last firing was estimated at 2,300 to 3,600 years ago. FOLDING KNIFE/FORK. A late Victorian, mother of pearl, combination silver knife & fork set by J. Deakin & Sons, Sheffield. Each silver element hallmarked for Sheffield, 1900. Length of knife, 14.5cm. The mother of pearl has some surface scratching, but nothing that could be considered 'damage'. The knife has a minutely blunted tip consistent with use, but is otherwise good.
