A French Art Deco marble onyx cold painted spelter and ivorine mantel clock, the lozenge shaped dial set with Arabic numerals and with eight day F.Marti movement set beside a female figure with outstretched arms on a rectangular plinth base, length 57cm. Not in Abbey. A scarce whaling and Arctic item, and a strikingly illustrated account of Captain Scoresby's voyage on the Baffin, undertaken to test his new harpoon design. (1)

A Liverpool, James Pennington leaf moulded pickle dish c.1765, with moulded body and painted in blue and white, length 12cm. CONDITION REPORT A few minor areas of rubbing to the raised parts and some very light brown staining, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.

A good Third Reich Paratrooper’s badge, by G H Osang, Dresden, with gilt eagle and oxidised silver wreath, the hook and hinge cast in one with the wreath. Near VGC, in its original carton, the lid printed “Luftwaffe Fallschirmschutzen- Abzeichen” (the carton slightly battered).
