Three Fans: A 19th century ivory Carnet de Bal, with six ivory sticks, both guards of mother-of-pearl, a silver metal decorative plaque to the upper guard with blank panel for initials, a finger ring and pencil on chain; an ivory Carnet de Bal with silver metal guards and Art Nouveau decoration, celluloid sticks, and opulent chenille tassel: and a hexagonal beige velvet face screen painted with an elegant 18th century couple in a salon, taking tea, the screen edged with fringed braid, backed in cream silk and mounted on a carved ivory handle. Item 1 guard length 9cm, item 2 guard length 10cm, item 3 width approx 18cm. MOP carnet: the upper guard has broken near the rivet and the first ivory stick in is glued to it. The face screen handle is broken and the bottom part missing. The Carnets de Bal lack ribbons.

SCHOOL OF SIR ANTHONY VAN DYCK (1599-1641); large oil on canvas, portrait study of Charles I on horseback, unsigned, inscribed on plaque to frame, 141 x 108cm, framed. CONDITION REPORT: Surface dirt commensurate with age. Visible evidence under the frame that it has been remounted. Areas of light craquelure throughout. Horizontal line (possibly a fold or stretcher line) stretching the width of the painting, dissecting Charles' chin. Losses throughout, particularly extreme to edges where the frame meets the canvas. Some grazes to the lower part of the work, with one in particular measuring approx. 3.5cm. 17th century, this item came from a large Welsh country manor house.

An elaborate cast metal fountain in the form of an urn with twin lion head spouts, surmounted by a seated putto flanked by a pair of mythical creatures, above a procession of putti playing musical instruments, the tripartite acanthus decorated plinth set with further putti and three lion head terminals (one corner af), height approx 235cm. CONDITION REPORT: Due to the size and weight of this item, it is essential that buyers consider removal by professionals prior to bidding.

A German WWII period Tritona Wasserdicht military wristwatch stamped D296721H to reverse, the circular dial set with coloured Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, dial diameter excluding winding crown 2.9cm, lacking strap (af). CONDITION REPORT: Mechanism af, not currently running, will need attention, general wear throughout to the item with some rubbing to the coloured detail on the numerals and some dirt and rubbing to the dial with small scratch to right side of manufacturer's stamp, scratches, nicks and gouges to case and dial cover, a series of small indents to the crown.

CONDITION REPORT: Corrosion to the blade, damage and loss to the blade tip, some splits to the shaft, loss of lacquered finish to the shaft, general wear and tear etc. Regarding the second item, corrosion to blade and mounting, general wear and tear, some damage and losses to the shaft.

A Victorian Aberdeenshire Highlander's basket hilt sword with VR cipher and etched floral decoration to centrally fullered blade and indistinctly signed to base with pierced heart motif guard and taped grip (lacking pommel) with scabbard, blade length approx 82cm. CONDITION REPORT: Blade tip lacking sharp point, blade generally ok with only light pitting, surface wear and rubbing to decoration, the guard is loose and has corrosion and pitting throughout, the pommel is missing as stated and the tape to the grip is certainly later, possibly for structural reasons, the scabbard is heavily pitted, discoloured and dented, small split approximately half way down and top of scabbard is misshapen, there are no returns on this item.

A wooden practice bayonet (possibly), stamped 'F[?].A.8.93', with iron lower section stamped 'F.1.93', possibly WWI period, length 45.4cm, please see condition report. CONDITION REPORT: Practice bayonet is our hypothesis but we cannot determine exactly what this item is - sold as seen and bidder must judge for themselves, no returns on this item. Corrosion and wear to the metal mounts, surface wear with some dents, gouges and scratches to the wooden section.

A Third Reich 1st SS Panzer Division dress bayonet, the fullered blade etched to one side '1 SS Leibstandarte Adolph Hitler' and to the other 'Meine Ehre Heist Freue' with swastika, stamped 'Gebr. Heller' and numbered 714a to blade base and 38 to blade back, further numbered 279 to guard with ribbed grip and etched division emblem to pommel, blade length 25cm in metal scabbard with leather frog, please see condition report. CONDITION REPORT: Item is sold as seen, we cannot guarantee authenticity and will not accept return of this item, it is up to the bidder to judge authenticity for themselves and bid accordingly.
