Large and Impressive Imperial German Veterans Association Banner / Standarte 1912, the finely embroidered double sided standarte has full bullion fringing to the edge. One side with large Imperial eagle set upon the national colours with bullion embroidered wording in gothic script. The reverse side has large embroidered oak tree with town crest below and scenic scenes. Again bullion embroidered gothic script writing to this side. The flag appears to be in very good overall condition, just slightly faded to one side. The flag has been professionally mounted in a double sided wooden and glazed frame. The frame measures 131 x 121 cms. Please note due to the size and weight, we are not able to offer in house post and packing on this lot. A set of Arts & Crafts tiles decorated with flowers and birds, 76 cm X 15 cm. Age- late Victorian in the Aesthetic Movement taste, circa 1880s/1890s.Condition - tiles should be 15cm x 15cm, however a few have been cut/broken along one side making them 14.5cm, the tiles are cemented at the back and some cement to front sides/edges, it does appear that this will come away (see before/after images) but the condition once removed is unknown, minor nibbles to edges etc. they appear free from large chips/cracks but backs of tiles are not visible, in house P&P not available on this item.
