Georgian Style Coldstream Guards Officers Shoulder Belt Plate, finely made oval plate with beaded border and white metal and enamel Coldstream Guards star to the centre. Reverse with single hook and two stud fittings. Some damage to the enamel but otherwise good condition. We believe this item to be a 20th / 21st century made example, sold as such and as seen.
Coldstream Guards Georgian Style Shoulder Belt Plate, oval pattern gilt brass shoulder belt plate with beaded edge. Central Guards star, missing the enamel from centre. Reverse with stud fitting and two hooks. We are of the opinion that this is a 20th / 21st century produced item, sold on this basis.
WW2 German Civil Defence / Luftschutz Pattern Gas Mask, in near mint condition with the original paper label still remaining to the filter. Housed in the correct pattern metal storage tin. Complete with spare lenses in the lid. Mask complete with all the straps. Filter is 1937 dated. Vendor states his father acquired the item on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, these islands being the only part of the United Kingdom to be occupied by the Third Reich during WW2.
A large and heavy spirit decanter with gilt decoration (27.5cm high)Condition report - the stopper looks good no problems, cracks, chips or major scratches. The decanter is noted to be extremely heavy and on close inspection the body is square and slightly waisted starting larger and getting smaller towards the bottom. The condition appears to be very good with no problems, cracks, chips or restoration noted and the gilding still appears to be bright. There are some scratches to the underside of the foot commensurate with age as to be expected and on close inspection the item is actually signed St Louis (France). There is slight discolouration to the inside of the bottom which may well disappear with glass cleaner. The Auctioneer's opinion is that this is a very nice item indeed.
A late 19th/early 20th century Sèvres-style two-handled porcelain serving tray centrally decorated with a vignette of a French king within floral gilt cartouche against a cobalt-blue ground, the two handles decorated with interlaced 'L's' (44cm diameter)Upon inspection to the underside it is noted that there is glaze crazing as expected commensurate with age and there are some scratches and marks on the foot, again as expected through age. The gilding to the front looks reasonable as does the portrait painting although upon close inspection there is some glaze crazing and some gilt bubbling to the edges at the top and the vertical gilding lines framing the cartouche. No chips, cracks or restorations noted - the item purports to be in good honest original condition.
A 9-carat yellow-gold brooch modelled as three ferns centrally set with two seed pearls and three garnets (The cost of UK postage via Royal Mail Special Delivery for this lot will be £10 inc.VAT) The condition of the item is very good no problems are noted. The pin does work. The weight is approx. 4.13g
A good and unusual early 20th century mahogany and marquetry display cabinet; the two glazed doors with arches and enclosing a shelf and above three Dutch-style cushion drawers with marquetry and boxwood acanthus ends, further marquetry earpieces and raised on square tapering legs terminating in spade feet (92cm wide x 42cm deep x 163cm high)This item does come with a key. There is a little scratching to the left-hand door around the lock area, the glass appears to be intact, legs appears to be intact there is some scratching and scuffling to be expected and commensurate with age. No major repairs, cracks big chips or restorations noted - in fairly good, honest overall original condition.

The height measurement has been checked (three times) it fluctuates between 203cm and 203.5cm
An original 1950s/1960s fairground carousel horse 'Alexander'; with brightly coloured paintwork, carved saddle, circular mirrored sides and leather stirrups etc., mounted upon later light-blue painted rockers, the underside signed D. J. Postum? (the rockers approx. 185cm and height (to horse's ears) 76cm)On the left-hand side there are two circular mirrors - the front one appears to be OK the rear one is broken, on the right-hand side the rear mirror is OK the front one is broken. The item has probably been repainted at some stage - there is some scratching, scuffing and chips etc. commensurate with usage and age. The rockers appear in good reasonable order, the legs of the horse appear in good reasonable order with no major problems noted, the seat has a three-inch split where the wood is coming away from the paint etc. Please see multiple images to corroborate this report.
A lustreware bowl decorated with a large fish amongst gilding; the underside monogrammed MBH (17cm diameter)The item appears in good original condition. There is a set of initials underneath the foot rim, the foot rim itself is good. Traces of the lustre ware glaze dripping from the top to the underside of the foot when fired and the gilding around the edge of the top has little bit of a mottled effect which is original to the piece. No chips, cracks or restorations noted.
