A 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet, registration number C725 DHY, Guards red. The final incarnation of the iconic 911 became available in 1984, and with it they revived the Carrera name for the first time since 1977. The car featured several styling changes, the larger 3.2 litre engine, and the Getrag G50 five speed gearbox. It was also the first cabriolet offered by Porsche since the 356 and a convertible has featured in their lineup ever since. This example is finished in striking Guards red with a Parchment leather interior, black mohair electric roof and Fuchs alloy wheels. The vendor describes the Porsche, which has covered a low 85,000 miles as one of the best 911 cabriolets available, with ***approximately £11,000 of receipts (not over £30,000)*** on file for maintenance which substantiate the low mileage. He also advises us that the Porsche has recently been serviced at a cost of £4,000, the wheels have recently been refurbished and the hood is a new item. The 3.2 litre Porsche 911s are very capable cars, with the best engine and most reliable gearbox, and this low mileage example is both a driver's car and a good future investment. V5C, MOT to November 2016 See illustrations
