A PRIVATELY COMMISSIONED SILVER PLATED UEFA CUP CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER`S TROPHY. formed from the letters UEFA surmounted by a Derby Ram and engraved R J Moore, the foot further engraved with names of teams and European Cup Competition 1972-73, 16cm h, by H KORODE DERBY; a silver 17th century replica wine cup, the bowl engraved with Derby Ram and DERBY COUNTY FOOTBALL CLUB FOOTBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 1974-75, `specimen` marked, by the Barker Ellis Silver Co, Birmingham 1975, 6ozs (2) Provenance: R J Moore Esq, Director and Chairman of Derby County FC; thence by descent to the present vendor. The unusual commemorative trophy is not modelled on the UEFA Cup, but is thought to have been commissioned privately by Derby County FC in a small edition for the Directors and Players that season (source: Derby County FC).. ++ Both in fine condition although the goblet with minor dent in the foot.
