An 18th century Chinese bronze archaic-style Fang Ding and Cover, the Cover finial modelled as a recumbent hound above a two-handled main vessel with interior script to the two longer sides, the exterior cast in archaistic style, raised on four shaped legs, sold together with British Museum Department of Oriental Antiquities receipt dated 16. 9 .72 detailing Museum description and with date attribution of 18th Century, 21.5cm (including finial) CONDITION REPORT: The lid has a small hole and old cracks visible in the images taken and also what looks like an old solder repair to the underside of the lid where the beast's backside fixes to the cover of the lid. Also one corner has a 3.5cm crack visible in close up images. The main body appears in good general overall original condition with no “major” problems or damage noted. He graduated from the Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry in 1915, later enrolling at VKhUTEMAS, where he studied under Vasili Kandinsky and Vladimir Favorsky. From 1932 until his death, the exhibition of abstract art was banned, so he secretly pursued his abstract work while working officially for various Soviet institutions. He was able to exhibit his beautiful, unique compositions only a handful of times from 1919 to 1931, alongside artists such as Natan Altman, El Lissitzky, Kazimir Malevich, and Alexander Rodchenko. Much of his oeuvre has remained unseen until the present. Tarkhanov`s works are included in the permanent collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian State Museum, the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, and at the Getty Center. 1892-99 $5 orange and carmine, a "Ceylon" forgery 'used' 'KUNWARA' cds for Oc 2 98, a fascinating item which was produced by bleaching a common contemporary Ceylon stamp and printing the forgery on the resulting blank 'stamp', the cancel would not have been affected by the bleaching and is quite genuine!

Grouping of Church Lads Brigade and Boy Scouts Interest, consisting of an early 1920’s period forage cap with gold wire cord piping to the crown and edge of the sides. Brass CLB cap badge and single star to the centre. Cloth lining to the interior shows some service wear. Accompanied by a hallmarked silver (Birmingham 1922) presentation cigarette case, engraved “CLB No2178 LIEUT W FREE FROM THE CHAPLAIN OFFICERS & LADS APRIL 2ND 1923”. The final item in the group is a brown leather waist belt with blackened brass two piece waist belt clasp of the London Diocesan Boy Scouts Association. (3 items)
Luftwaffe Officers Peaked Cap Attributed to Kampfgeschwader 51, blue grey body with black mohair band and silver piped crown and bordering the band. Bullion embroidered eagle and cockade. Officers chin cords. Attached to the mohair band is a metal Edelweiss, the Edelweiss was the insignia used by Kampfgeschwader 51. Grey leather sweatband to the interior. The cap shows heavy wear and is badly moth damaged, much of the silver bullion wire has oxidised and the interior lining damaged and sections missing. An untouched as found item. Kampfgeschwader 51 (KG 51) was a Bomber wing during WW2 operating Dornier Do-17’s, Heinkel He 111 and Junkers Ju 88’s.
Royal Air Force Officers Inter War Parade Full Dress Busby, leather covered shell with seal fur surround, knotted gold bullion cords with blue flecks. Fitted with the correct pattern silver gilt officers busby badge. Fine officers ostrich feather plume. Interior has leather sweatband and officers lining, tailors label to the crown for Conway Williams, Hannover Square. Patent leather chinstrap still present. Fur remains in generally good condition with just some fading and discolouration, slight area of loss to one edge. Overall a good example of a scarce to find item of Royal Air Force headdress which was relatively short lived.
WW2 Luftwaffe Wrist Compass, being a liquid filled example made by Kadlec. Black bakelite casing is stamped with various issue numbers and FL 23235. Complete with strap. Remains in good condition. This item was removed from a member of Luftwaffe aircrew who crashed in a field in Folkstone during the Battle of Britain by the vendors grandfather. Exact date and location is not known by the vendor.

An Italian 14k gold bracelet as worn by Dave Murray of Iron Maiden, believed to have been custom made by a unique jeweller in Italy.
