Registration – UWE 12YChassis No. – SAXXL2S1020137495M.O.T. – ExemptOdometer – 68,877Somehow the description “Mini 1000 City E” doesn’t quite get to the essence of ‘UWE 12Y,’ such are the extent of the upgrades that have been lavished on this Mini. ‘UWE 12Y’ arrives from a period of long term ownership of over 10 years and presents in a full competition specification. As such ‘UWE 12Y’ will lend itself to a range of competitive endeavours or, as it is road registered, for fast road use. Top amongst ‘UWE 12Y’s’ long list of quality specification enhancements must be the 1330cc competition engine which has covered just 500 miles since it was newly fitted. Other extensive enhancements have been made to every aspect of this Mini. Judging by its windscreen sticker it has competed under FIA regulations before so represents a great opportunity to acquire a competition focussed Mini. ‘UWE 12Y’ is now MOT exempt and zero rated for road tax. It was last MOT’d as recently as 2023, however, and gained an advisory free pass at 68,863 miles.‘UWE 12Y’s’ new engine is a 1330cc unit fitted with a Weber single 40 side draught carburettor and a Mangoletsi throttle linkage. The cylinder head is a big valve version with roller rockers and a Kent 286 camshaft. The block is located using Minisport engine steadies and stabiliser bracket. The exhaust manifold is big bore item with accompanying big bore centre exit system. Reportedly the shell was prepared around 5 years ago courtesy of a complete strip down and a new front end. A fibreglass bonnet, boot and lightened doors were also fitted at this stage together with polycarbonate windows with door sliders. ‘UWE 12Y’ was treated to a complete rewire at this stage and the brake and fuel lines renewed and internally routed. Other key mechanical enhancements include Gaz adjustable shock absorbers and variable tie bars as well as Cooper S discs and callipers on the front. The rear brakes feature Minisport backplates and shoe assemblies with Superfin drums. These hide behind 6J x 10-inch Revolite alloys shod with Yokohama A008 165/80 tyres.Internally, ‘UWE 12Y’ is clearly configured for competition. A Safety Devices bolt in, multipoint item and the STR race seats and harnesses were accredited until 2023 but appear hardly used. A deeply dished, quick release race steering wheel is also fitted. The vendor rates every aspect of ‘UWE 12Y’ as “good.”In summary:· An extensively modified, competition focussed Mini ready for a range of disciplines· Benefitting from a new, heavily upgraded engine just 500 miles ago· Road registered and now MOT and VED exempt due to Historic Vehicle status

Registration – G13 ADO (Not included in the sale)Chassis No. – ZHWGE22T67LA04284M.O.T. – September 2025Odometer – 25,000‘G13ADO’ is a stunning looking example of the first generation Gallardo Spyder from its first year of production. ‘G13ADO’ has been enjoyed by seven previous keepers to date, with the current vendor owning the Gallardo for around 9 months. Apart from its stunning looks, ‘G13ADO’ is noted for its very modest 25,000 miles to date and a fastidious service history. Despite this low mileage a full eight Lamborghini dealer services have been undertaken between 3,783 and 24,512 miles. ‘G13ADO’ is equipped with the 520PS even firing 5-litre V10 combined with the E-gear automated manual six speed transmission. A stunning low mileage Gallardo Spyder with an impeccable full dealer service history. Compete with two keys and a valet key and an impeccable MOT history with the current advisory free (‘G13ADO’ has never garnered a single advisory item) test valid until September 2025.‘G13ADO’ presents in head-turning and highly desirable Rosso Leto Metallic livery, which sets off the dramatic Gallardo strakes and lines perfectly. ‘G13ADO’ is the 2006 introduced Spyder version of the Gallardo with the retracting fabric hood turning this Italian thoroughbred into a convertible at the touch of a button. ‘G13ADO’ appears to be in an exquisite external condition very much conducive with its milage, careful ownership and fitted nose lift. ‘G13ADO’ sporting cabin is a sea of black and grey leather and complementary hues and, like the rest of the car exhibits a superb degree of originality. Paintwork, bodywork and interior are all vendor rated as “excellent.”In many ways Lamborghinis are developed from their engine outwards and ‘G13ADO’ is no exception. The mighty, rear mounted 4,961cc V10 fitted here is the even firing DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder version, originally rated at 520PS. What’s more this peak power is delivered at a dizzying 8,000 rpm in true Italian thoroughbred style. ‘G13ADO’ is fitted with the automated manual E-gear transmission which can be manually changed by paddles or set into fully automatic mode. This combination originally delivered a 4.3 second 0-60 mph time on the way to a 190mph plus top seed. It is no wonder all mechanical aspects of ‘G13ADO’ are rated as “excellent” given its diligent and thorough service history. This comprises the following entries – August 2010 – 3,783 miles; June 2011 – 4,216 miles; July 2012 a major service – 5,074 miles; May 2014 – 11,735 miles; August 2016 – 15,787 miles; June 2018 a major service – 16,685 miles; May 2019 – 18,714 and May 2024 – 24,512 miles. These were all performed at Lamborghini main dealers. In summary:· Amazingly light use to date with a condition to match· Complete with an impeccable full dealer service history

Lot 59

Registration – TBCChassis No. – TBCM.O.T. – TBCOdometer – TBCThe chassis number prefix of this superb MKI Lotus Cortina reveals it to be a Dagenham produced, right hand drive car manufactured in October 1965. That makes it one of just 1,112 built that year out of a total of 2,894 made between 1963 and 1966. Usually, we would refer to the car’s registration number here, but this example has always been a race car and hence never registered for the road. In fact, this Lotus Cortina has raced all over the world. In 1995 it was raced by Loris Beghetto. By 2006 it was in Australia with Neal Harvey who lavished much time and money on it. By 2010 it was in the Franz Wittner collection where it benefited from an engine rebuild and subsequent testing at the Nurburgring in 2011. By 2012 the Lotus Cortina was in Ian Harrison’s personal collection. Whilst in this ownership all the necessary work was done to attain an MSA Passport which was granted in 2018 and remains valid until 2028. It previously held FIA registration which has now expired but could likely be easily reinstated. Plenty of interesting paperwork is included. A truly rare opportunity to secure a bona fide race proven MKI Lotus Cortina. This example showcases the traditional Lotus Cortina livery of Ermine White with Sherwood Green flashes and Lotus roundels. Externally there is no mistaking this car’s racing focus. The bumpers have been deleted, and front and rear tow eyes are highlighted in yellow. Both bonnet and boot are secured with alloy lock pins and a set of 6J x 13-inch Minilite wheels are fitted shod with Advan race tyres. It is noted that the original aluminium doors and boot lid are still fitted but the bonnet has been replaced with a steel item at some point. The body condition appears very good overall. The stripped out cabin is all about light weight and functionality. A full, tubular roll cage is fitted as is a Sparco race seat for the driver. A passenger seat is also fitted and both seats feature full race harnesses. Other race focuses attributes include an RRS fire extinguisher, the obligatory kill switches and a chunky Mota-Lita three spoke steering wheel. The MKI Lotus Cortina was fitted with the legendary twin-cam version of the Ford Kent engine which benefitted from the attention of Lotus. The original units were of a 1557cc capacity and originally produced around 105bhp. This engine looks to be in great order and clearly well cared for. A big pair of DCOE Weber carburettors are noted. Other mechanical enhancements include a race fuel cell and accompanying Facet plumbing. The owner suggests that a light recommissioning may be required due to a lack of recent use.
