A most attractive gold coloured (not HM) brooch by H J Wilm, court jewellers, Berlin. Diam 35mm including projections, the field of punched design with separate overlaid crown and V and A monogram, the "V" in blue enamel. All enclosed by a beaded rim set at 6 points with a small pearl. The reverse of "porthole" style and set with a dark grey grained stone, brooch pin and 'keep' chain. GVF or better, in its original maker's case, gold embossed with the crowned V and A monogram. A charming item Plate 4. Note: This is undoubtedly a personal presentation from Auguste Victoria 1858-1921 (nee Auguste Viktoria of Schleswig Holstein) the consort of Kaiser Wilhelm II.

A fine gauge 1 live steam locomotive. A beautifully constructed ex-LSWR Drummond D15 04/04/2000 tender locomotive, RN E470, constructed by the late Jim Dunford. In Southern Railway lined olive green livery, complete with copper safety valves, whistle and steam pipes etc. Fitted with sprung buffers, vacuum pipes and screw couplings. A red oval plate to each cab side sheet with the inscription `Southern Railway E470'. The 8-wheel bogie water-cart tender is fitted with detailed tool boxes, water tank cover, brake wheel and reproduction coal. Mounted on a simple wooden plinth; a wooden carrying case is also supplied. VGC. Believed to be in operating condition but not tested. Sold as collector's item only. Plate. Inside front cover

Cast Iron Water Fountain, ex Bellshill Station. A two-piece item comprising the ornate backsplash measuring 27" x 16" and having two bluebird style designs cast within and lower well shaped similar to a large sea-shell with the drainage pipe beneath and water supply orifice central. A wonderful adornment for the railway themed garden.
Great North Of Scotland Railway - Union Castle Line To South & East Africa, fully titled Poster in glazed frame, depicting a wonderful, colour image of BALMORAL CASTLE by Norman Wilkinson. Text beneath the image reads: Offices Of The Company At London, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Southampton & Glasgow. Passengers Booked from Through Booking Stations on the Great North Of Scotland Railway, via Aberdeen, see Time Tables For Train Service. Overall measurements 33½" x 28¼". Some damage where the centre fold has broken through and also a cleanish tear centre left in the sea area. Also a little grubby but a wonderful item regardless and would display exceptionally well.
Portpatrick & Wigtownshire Joint Railway Signal Linesman Box. An intriguing item with original P.& W.J.R No.2 brass plate on lid and multiple stampings of the Caledonian Railways inside the lid. As well as the company name in full it also has 'Telegraph Dept., Stranraer'. Also an oval stamp 'Caledonian Rail. Co Telegraph Dept No 45, Lineman Stranraer'. Measures 7" x 6" x 3" approximately and is constructed with mahogany.
Truncheon, East & West India Docks Company. A wonderful, 18" Truncheon bearing the large, Victorian Crown with the V.R. initials above and E & W.I.D.Co within garter beneath. Additionally, the number 369 is painted at the bottom. In extremely good condition with just a few paint chips here and there and at the very top. Accompanying this item is a n original pair of Hyatt & Co Handcuffs, purchased with the truncheon in 1973. Note the East & West India Dock Company had a very close association with the London & Blackwall Railway in 1868 when a joint venture to build a railway between Millwall Junction and Millwall Docks.
Truncheon, Northampton Parish Constable, measuring 17¼" in length and bearing the Queens crown at the top with VR below this and then Northampton Parish Constable is contained within a red panel towards the handle. The makers name Parker Holborn 233 is clearly stamped in the top and this can be used to date it to between 1842 - 1876. A rare item in excellent condition for its age with only the normal rubbing of the paint at the end.
Great Eastern Railway small Liquer Glass. A most delightful item measuring just under 3½" tall with central stem and circular base. The main bowl has a cut-glass appearance with 6 flats around the lower circumference. It is exquisitely engraved with the intertwined company initials just below the lip. In pristine condition.
Brass Single Line Tablet GLENFINNAN - ARISAIG number 27. A wonderful item from a famous location between Fort William and Mallaig. Scene of one of the most famous viaducts in railway history and in modern days, route to Hogwarts, school and wizard academy of Harry Potter. Excellent condition.
GWR Signal Box, Tyers 16 position Mahogany Cased Train Describer ivorine plated Chester No 3. An identical example with the exception of the signalbox number, is on page 181 of LNWR Signalling by Richard D. Foster. A quite magnificent and substantial item. The front, top segmented dial is populated with the following:- Holyhead Passenger Train; Mold Passenger Train; G.W. Passenger Train; L.N.W. Light Engine; G.W. Light Engine; L.N.W. Goods; G.W. Goods; L.N.W. Empty Coaches; G.W. Empty Coaches; Through Coal Yard; Signal In Error. Beneath this top dial is an ivorine plate Down Fast Line. The bottom dial is annotated in the same manner. The pull-out clockwork mechanism appears to function correctly and the condition is wonderful.
GWR White Metal Ingot inscribed side-by-side 'GWR Motor Car White Metal' as recovered from Swindon Works together with another item recovered from the same location, a flat metal sign painted 'Production Control'. Additionally, GWR Staff Association framed and glazed Certificates, qty 3. Awarded to 1. The Newbury Children's Percussion Band, 2. The Children's Choir Newbury, 3. Ladies Glee Party Newbury. Also, a GWR Magazine dated July 1903 in a glazed frame.
A silver open face pocket watch, Swiss, circa 1930, .925 continental silver, the dial signed Vulcain, similarly signed jewelled lever movement, the reverse engraved with a footballer striking the ball and inscribed CAMPEON MUNDIAL DE FOOT-BALL 1930-MONTEVIDEO, inscription originally enamelled in blue, mostly worn away This watch was made as a commemorative item for the general public in Uruguay in celebration of the 1930 World Cup victory.
A FIFA outside broadcasters RCA (Radio Corporation of America) microphone, with a swivel mouth piece fitted with bakelite frame, inscription reads "FIFA Radio" on the front and "On Air" to the reverse, in a Perspex display case, 41cm., 16in. This lot comes with official documentation which reads. This Historic item was used from the early 1950's through to the mid 1960's to record important World Cup and various International tournaments in Europe and Latin America. Over the most important years FIFA shared common space with the Worlds most famous football sports network radio broadcasters. The microphone was gifted to The General Secretary of The Real Federation Espanola de Futbol from Comite Ejecutivo FIFA. The microphone had formed an important broadcast display at the AFA Museum in Buenos Aires following its donation from Spain's FEF Museum in 1968 signed Fernando Alta Villa, June 15th 1989, Buenos Aires.
A Medieval gold stirrup ring, probably 13th century, the collet mount missing a stone, Size Q. 1.8g. The missing stone was probably a polished sapphire cabochon, a popular choice in the early Medieval period.
