A George III Mahogany Chest of small proportions, with moulded edge to top, fitted slide and four long graduated drawers under, and on bracket feet, 30ins wide x 18ins deep x 31ins highTo the top there is some general scattered scratching and darker staining. To the right and left hand sides there are small shrinkage splits running horizontally around 6ins long each. Around all three front edges of the top there is some slight rubbing and general edge knocks. On the left hand side there is a diagonal split running through the moulding around 3ins long, the same on the right hand side. To the right hand side there is some heavier scratching and impressions. The drawers run free and easily with minimal resistance. In the image there is a handle missing but this is now present. General heavier wear to the base and feet commensurate with age. Overall the item is structurally sound however there is some movement in the joints.

An Early 18th Century Pine Breakfront Bookcase of Architectural Form, the upper part with angled pediment and flanked by scroll carved brackets, fitted three shaped shelves enclosed by a central door carved with shell and acanthus leaf ornament, flanked by small display cabinets, each fitted two shelves enclosed by a plain glazed door, the base with cupboard enclosed by a central door with carved leaf scroll ornament, on moulded plinth base, 51ins wide x 16.5ins deep x 92ins highThe piece is definitely English, however the glass does not appear original, the cornice around all three front edges of the top there is some slight edge knocks and some general rubbing, the leaf and scroll carving of the frieze has general scattered horizontal shrinkage splits of various sizes, the ears on the left and right hand sides have small various shrinkage splits running vertically each around 1ins long, the arcaded frieze has two shrinkage splits running horizontally from one end to the other, to the left and right hand sides of the top there is some general scattered scratching, there are some plugs or pegs and areas of repair, on the bottom left hand side there is a piece of moulding that is loose but present, on the right hand side the same moulding there is a small area of damage at the back, the top of the base has some general scattered scratching and darker staining and some rubbing and edge knocks, the lower panel in the centre with the leaf scroll carving there are areas of the applied decoration missing, and on the back panel there are shrinkage splits running vertically from one end to the other, on the right and left hand sides there are areas of heavy scratching and numerous areas of repair each in a circular section, to the base general heavier wear commensurate with age, flight holes are present to this piece - evidence of historic woodworm, the item is structurally sound, however there is some movement in the joints, I would say this piece is mid-early 18th Century, and please refer to the additional images we have on file.  The item does come in two parts. Base height 34ins, top height 58ins

A 19th Century French Provincial Cherrywood Kitchen Table, with square edge to top, fitted slide, plain frieze, on square tapered legs, 77ins x 35ins x 29ins highTo the top there is some general scattered scratching and darker staining (water marks). In between all three planks of the top there are signs of shrinkage with splits present running horizontally from one end to the other. At the bottom end there is a split running diagonally in the frieze, diagonally from one end to the other. General heavier wear to the legs and supports commensurate with age. Overall the item is structurally sound with little to no movement in the joints.

A George III Mahogany Bow Front Chest and a Toilet Mirror, the chest with crossbanded top and inlaid with stringings, fitted three long drawers with shaped apron and bracket feet 40ins wide x 21ins deep x 31.5ins high, and a mahogany framed rectangular toilet mirror on shaped uprights, the platform base fitted two drawers on bun feet 19.5ins wideToilet mirror - around all four edges of the mirror in the corners there are diagonal shrinkage splits around 2ins long. On the very top at the left hand side there is some slight veneer loss at around 0.25ins squared. Some darker staining build up around all four edges of the mirror. Some light scattered scratching to the base. Drawers run free and easily with minimal resistance. On the right hand side a section of veneer is loose but present.  The same for the left hand side. General heavier wear to the bun feet commensurate with age.  Chest - to the top there is some darker general scattered scratching and staining. On the top right hand corner around 6ins long running horizontally there is a shrinkage split. Some of the ebonised stringing is missing on the right hand side in two sections. On the left hand side and the front the veneer is starting to crack. There is a shrinkage split on the left hand side around 12ins long. The drawers run free and easily with minimal resistance. General heavier wear to the base and feet commensurate with age. On the right and left hand feet at the top where it meets the apron there are diagonal shrinkage splits running from one end to the other. Overall the item is structurally sound however there is some movement in the joints.

A Victorian Figured Walnut and Gilt Metal Mounted Credenza, fitted central cupboard enclosed by a pair of doors, flanked by display cabinets, each enclosed by shaped glazed door, on plinth base, 88ins wide x 18ins deep x 45ins highTo the top there is some general scattered scratching. The whole is heavily stained and has a thick residue to the touch. Around all three front edges of the top there is general rubbing and edge knocks.  To all of the metal components of the lots there is some light general oxidisation. The right hand incurved door is actually cracked/smashed in the top left hand corner. The right door is loose but present. On the same door the metal beading is loose but present. Around all the metal mounts there is heavy staining and over polish.  The key is present and locking mechanism works.  Around the base of all the door fronts there are scratches due to the movement of the doors.  General heavier wear commensurate with age to the base. Overall the item is structurally sound however there is some movement in the joints.

A George III Mahogany Secretaire Bookcase, the upper part with moulded cornice, fitted four shelves enclosed by a pair of astragal glazed doors, the secretaire base interior with cupboard under enclosed by a pair of fielded panel doors, on bracket feet, 42ins wide x 19ins deep x 90ins highTo the top at the cornice at the corner joints there are signs of shrinkage with diagonal shrinkage splits. Around all three front edges at the top there are general signs of rubbing and edge knocks. The left hand door in the centre panel there are two small diagonal cracks. At the base of the right and left hand sides at the top there are small areas of scratching and veneer bubbling. Key is present and locking mechanisms work. At the top of the base general scattered scratching and darker staining and on the front right corner there is a cut-out area in an L section around 2ins squared. On the left hand corner at the front there is a small area of repair in a rectangular section. Some general staining to the interior of the secretaire drawer. The right hand side of the base is slightly unevenly faded and there is general heavier wear to the feet commensurate with age.  Overall the item is structurally sound however there is some movement in the joints.

A 20th Century Walnut and Pippy Oak Refectory Table of "Art Deco" Design, by Mark Lineham, with square edge and cross banding to top, on angled and moulded supports, with trestle feet, 96ins wide x 39ins deep x 31ins high, and a set of eight matching high back dining chairs including two armchairs The top of the table has general scattered scratching and darker staining (watermarks). Around all of the joints at the top there are signs of shrinkage where they are just starting to open up. Around all four edges there are some slight edge knocks ad general rubbing. On each of the supports there is some slight veneer bubbling and loss and one of the end supports has an area of damage which is affecting the stability of the table. There is general heavier wear to the base commensurate with age and usage. Overall the item is structurally sound, however there is a lot of movement between the supports and the table top.Chairs - general scattered scratching to the wooden components. The drop in seats appear to be in relatively good condition with no rips or damage. No foul odours coming from the item. The chairs do have some stains and/or scuffing. General heavier wear to the feet and stretchers commensurate with age and usage. On the armchairs the arms are generally rubbed and slightly unevenly faded, however all chairs are solid with little to no movement to the joints.

In the centre of the top on the right and left hand sides there are two shrinkage splits each around 6ins long.  To all edges of the top there is some general rubbing and edge knocks.  The top is unevenly faded to the two drop leaves. On the right hand side the moulded edge at the centre piece of the table there is a small area of damage around 2ins diameter. General heavier wear to the stretchers and feet commensurate with age. Overall the item is structurally sound however there is some movement in the joints.

A Pair of 19th Century Satinwood Circular Revolving Three Tier Bookcases, each inlaid with bellflower and urn ornament, each tier velour lined, on central turned column with quadruple outsplayed legs with ormolu paw feet and castors, 17ins diameter x 60ins highFirst bookcase - around the edge of each tier there is general rubbing and some slight edge knocks. On the top tier there is some light scattered scratching and darker staining. The first tier on the central column there is a split running vertically around 6ins long. On the right hand side there is a small area of string missing around 2ins long in two places. The second tier at the base the veneer is starting to bubble and there is a small area of stringing missing around 5ins long running horizontally. To the right of this there is a small area of stringing missing around 3ins long. The cross banding at the top has a small area of veneer loss around 0.25ins squared. On the next section there is a small area of veneer loss in a triangular section around 0.25ins long. On the lower tier there are various areas of string loss each around 1ins-2ins long running horizontally and general signs of shrinkage with veneer bubbling. The velour lined shelves appear to be in a relatively good overall condition with no obvious staining, damage or rips. General heavier wear to the legs and feet commensurate with age. Light oxidisation to the ormolu feet and castors. The castors run free and easily with minimal resistance. Overall the item is structurally sound and appears to be in a relatively good condition.  Second bookcase - very top section has split in half, and there is some slight movement.  General scattered scratching to the whole and some areas of darker staining build-up. In the very centre of the top tier the veneer is just beginning to separate and there is a line running vertically from one end to the other. On the lower section the right hand side of the top tier, there is a small area of stringing loss around 2ins running horizontally.  The second tier has a diagonal shrinkage split running from one end to the other at the very top. General signs of shrinkage to the veneer around the top and bottom edge and some slight areas of loss. Shrinkage running vertically from one end to the other on the lower tier at the very top and all the edges of each tier has general rubbing and slight edge knocks. To the base there is some veneer shrinkage and splits present. General darker staining and polish build-up to the whole. Light scattered scratching to the whole and to the feet there is some general heavier wear commensurate with age and some light oxidisation to the metal ormolu components of the feet. The castors run free and easily with minimal resistance. Overall the item is structurally sound.
