A stunning collection of official Gorton Foundry works photographs in a tooled, gold embossed, leather bound volume from the personal library of Richard Peacock (as identified by a label in the front of the album). Comprising 50 photographs, each approx. 14x10, dated between 1856 and 1864, each annotated with the locomotive details in pencil. This is a substantial archive item, some slight foxing to end pages and rubbing to covers but still splendid. Album measures 20in x 15in.
Diesel Worksplate METROPOLITAN VICKERS ELECTRICAL CO LTD MANCHESTER ENGLAND 1004 SERIAL NUMBER OF LOCOMOTIVE. Ex BR class 28 D5711. Rectangular stainless steel measuring 5in x 1.75in, these worksplates were fitted inside the cab and the makers plates with no works numbers were fitted outside, a rare item from a small class of 20.
Flying Scotsman rebuild plate as fitted to the Driver's (left hand side) cabside of Flying Scotsman in 1978 following a major overhaul at the Vickers workshops in Barrow-in-Furness. The plate (one of two) was carried until 1985 in the same position as the original Doncaster worksplate. They were removed in order to prepare the locomotive for overhaul and then presented to the Carnforth Steamtown regular fireman of Flying Scotsman and to the driver, Patrick Mullee, from whom it was acquired by the vendor. Flying Scotsman was the first locomotive to be overhauled at Vickers for more than half a century and this item is unique in having the image of the loco as part of the plate. Oval cast brass lightly cleaned.
A late 19th century silver plated ewer and hinged cover engraved with a flag, possibly 'The White Star Line' flag, of large proportions, by Elkington & Co, 31cm high CONDITION REPORT: The item has come from a private client from North Wales, the piece is not stamped 'White Star Line' on the base, there is an Elkington mark on the foot rim and 'ELKINGTON' as well. The knop has been compressed into the lid, there is a crease and denting to the handle. The piece would benefit from a thorough clean as it appears to be very grubby.

American Eagle underneath 'Ready to Defend' '.....and nothing but wishes and to submit to nothing'. Etching faint in places. Nickel silver (?) & Mother of Pearl grips with early American Eagle relief. In its leather scabbard with a red scorpion carved in relief. Frog stud on nickel locket and chape. Rhodesia Medal 1980 named to 24432698 Dvr D H Owen RCT. (impressed naming), together with Zimbabwe Independence Medal, these framed with original Buckingham Palace Certificate Restricted Permission to wear. Lot also includes original boxes of issue (loose). Recipient states that he was a member of 47 Air Despatch Sqdn RCT. He air dropped supplies to the ceasefire monitoring force and also to the 2 Freedom Fighting Forces (Zapu and Zanu). Nice item
A believed WWI First World War tin ' folding ' trench periscope. The body of box form, with carry handle to top. Each end opens to reveal a fixed mirror, allowing the entire item to be used as a periscope. Ones of this style were used during the First World War to peer over the top of trenches. Measures approx; 35cm when closed.

The blue metal switch unit with switches for ' Bomb Doors ' and ' Bomb Release '. End of the plug marked ' Cables Test - Vulcan '. Likely used by technicians to test the door / release action when the plane was grounded. Rare item.
A rare antique 19th century ' Sidney Sussex College Scratch Fours ' pewter rowing trophy cup. The front reading ' 6 Boats Started, Nov 15th 1862 ' and the lists the winning crew. The pewter cup with twin handles and glass base (cracked). Rare and interesting item. Measures approx; 16cm tall.

The rear section having a map wired to it. Believed to be of the type dropped into allied areas carrying valuable information. Age / originality unknown, and some parts appear to be later additions. A rare WWII Second World War US Army issue ' 101st Airborne ' division uniform steel MC1 helmet. Fully complete, including the inner liner, leather straps, netting and a period First Aid pouch to top. Generally very good condition, with the ' Spades ' emblem painted to both sides. Rare. NOTE: Whilst the item appears period and genuine, it is likely a marriage of original parts combined and enhanced for display purposes. †102 Dalmatians (2000) Life size animatronic hero Dalmatian puppy of the lead character 'Oddball'. 'Oddball' is the main starring Dalmatian in the film, having the problem of not developing spots, hence this puppy is all in white. This would have been used during production within group puppy sequences. Such stand-in pups were either 'solid' or animatronic, like this version. The puppy is beautifully and realistically detailed, right down to the individual claws on each paw. The Front paws feature two slightly protruding metal rods and there are also screw holes to the plastic footplates of the rear paws. Originally the animatronics would have given movement to the neck and possibly slight movement within the body. Made by the legendary Jim Henson Studios, whose work has been generally regarded as one of the best and most ground breaking in the industry. Constructed of a rubber latex head with hand punched hair, glass eyes, and full jaw detail to include teeth and tongue. Built upon a jointed inner hard skull cap with some internal operational electronic wires still remaining. This head can be best seen during the making of documentary for the film, where a Jim Henson Studios puppeteer demonstrates the effectiveness of its animatronics. †Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back (1980) Cast and Crew exclusive issue 'Passport'. The Passport was designed and thought up by Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back Producer, Gary Kurtz, to enable full security within the Star Wars stages during filming at Elstree Studios, whilst at the same time adding an ingenious piece of Star Wars magic. Called the Passport for obvious reasons, being that pages had to be stamped for clearance on to certain named areas of the Star Wars Stages. A high quality item with thick board covers and sixteen different pages, many featuring Star Wars associated emblems and illustrations. The Passport is stamp numbered to the front and with stamps inside, indicating it was actually used which is rare amongst the known surviving examples. †Red Corner (1997) Richard Gere in his portrayal of 'Jack Moore' signature costume. Comprises of Jacket, Trousers and Shirt. All items of clothing are intentionally production distressed to include a bloodied bullet wound to the left shoulder of the Jacket and Shirt. Each item contains a wardrobe tag detailing the actor and production details. Additionally the original wardrobe tag and continuity photo are attached to the left sleeve of the jacket. The inside of the Trousers have been partially lined with black camera tape to make them stronger for the roof top chase scenes. The Suit is heavily featured on the movie release posters, DVD release cover and other items, additionally compounding it's importance.
