Ca. 500 - 300 BC.An amazing Phoenician necklace with ten unique head shaped glass pendants. The necklace is comprised of dozens of ancient Phoenician blue glass beads combined with globular glass beads decorated with blue eyes, including ten glass multi-colour pendants made with different details. Some are depicted with big blue or black eyes; each one has a coloured twisted hat, semi-opaque cobalt blue, with additions in opaque yellow, translucent pale yellow-brown, and semi-opaque turquoise green. The pedants are cylindrical with a large rod hole at the bottom, slightly indented on top; arched rounded edge at the back, front projecting downwards; and applied suspension loop on top of the head. The Phoenicians were exporting their glassware across the Mediterranean and beyond. Their glass products were highly sought after, prized for their beauty and craftsmanship. Magna Graecia, South Italy, Ca. 300 BC.A volute krater crafted from terracotta, characterized by an egg-shaped body that tapers onto a stem, ultimately resting upon a flared foot. The vessel features two handles positioned on the sides. These handles take the distinctive form of volutes, with decorative details painted in white and red hues. The obverse of the krater reveals elaborate depictions of the "Lady of Fashion" on the main body and the neck. Each female head is illustrated facing left, adorned with a radiate stephane, a ribbon sakkos, earrings, and a necklace. On the reverse side, the representation of the "Lady of Fashion" is confined to the body, while the neck features a horizontal stylised motif.
