A circa 1900 Arts & Crafts oak chair in the manner of George Walton, the slender slat back inlaid with thistles motif over shaped open arms with brass caps to the dished seat raised on inverted tapering supports united by stretchers CONDITION REPORTS Surface scratches, scuffs and knocks to the wood. Accretions in areas and what appears to be flecks of white paint down the legs, some on the seat and the stretcher. Areas of fading and discolouration, mainly to the seat, arms and to the stretcher. Tarnishing and dents to the brass decoration on the arms and an old repair to the underside of the seat in the form of two metal brackets. A Liberty & Co of London oak wall hanging smokers cabinet, the plain top above a cupboard door decorated with lion rampant flanked by an open recess over a pipe rack with two copper pans inscribed to the frieze "The man who smokes thinks like a sage and acts like a Samaritan", bears enamelled tag to top "Liberty & Co London" CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, scuffs and knocks to the wood, areas of fading and discolouration, accretions, wear to the lower corner of the cupboard door, also around the lock as well. One of the panels at the back is slightly bowed. There is a split to the panel at the back where the wall bracket is. Item has general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. A large 20th Century six fold Chinese lacquered pine screen having scroll fret work panel atop with carved flower and butterfly decoration. The lower section having carved figure scenes above engraved bird and floral detailing. Raised on square supports with gilt detailing throughout. highest item measures 176cm diameter and 170cm high.
