Egypt, Royal Cache at Deir el- Bahri, 21st Dynasty, Ca. 970 BC.A blue and black faience ushabti foreman in the name of Nestanébichérou. He is in the costume of the living, wearing the loincloth, a black wig and holding the whip in his right hand. The front is painted with a hieroglyphic column: "The Osiris Nestanébichérou justified". Nestanébichérou was the daughter of Pinedjem II and Nesikhonsu. She was buried in the royal cache of Deir el-Bahari in the year 13 of an unspecified king, probably Siamun. Coptic Culture, Ca. 100 BC - AD 100 .A wooden comb with a decorative program consisting of nine concentric circles on a central rectangular panel. The comb is set with thick teeth on one side and fine teeth on the other. Fine tooth combs were important in the ancient world for controlling lice, nits, and other pests. These would have been used for someone's natural hair rather than the elaborate wigs favoured by Egyptians, which required more complex tools. Late Period, Mid Dynasty 26th, Ca. 610 - 570 BC.A basalt bust of an imposing pharaoh. He stares forward with prominent facial details and protruding ears under a nemes headdress. The face is framed by the sides of the headdress, and the lappets hang down to rest on the broad shoulders. The reverse of the head is well defined, and part of the nemes extends down the centre of his spine. This bust may have been created as a standalone object rather than a piece from a larger statue. It is indefinite who this model was meant to represent, though the refined quality and sophisticated presentation indicate it was likely a pharaoh of this period. A long inscription is engraved on the plinth on the reverse of the statue.
