Rare Special Operations Executive (S.O.E) Forged Adolf Hitler Head Stamp, interesting forgery of a 3 Reichspfennig stamp produced by the S.O.E for the production of propaganda cards given to agents dropped into enemy occupied territory to distribute in the German postal system. Accompanied by a original German produced example for comparison. Full history of this item accompanies the lot.
Kurt Daleuge Presentation Signed Copy of his Own Book Nationalsozialistischer Kampf gegen das Verbrechertum (National Socialist Struggle Against Criminality) 1st Edition Munich 1936 and signed with inscription dated 10th August 1936. 138pp., photographs. Bound in full red leather, gilt. Copy belonged to Enemy Documents section Cabinet Office and more recently the Imperial War Museum (some neat stamps). Kurt Daluege was Chief of the German Order Police and following Reinhard Heydrich assassination he became Deputy Protector for Bohemia and Moravia, he was considered responsible for the Lidice massacre and was publicly executed in Prague in 1946. A rare item.
[JAMES VI & I]: (1566-1625) King of Scotland as James VI from 1567-1625, and King of England and Ireland 1603-25. An oblong 12mo piece individually signed by four Barons of the Exchequer who served during the reign of King James I comprising Lawrence Tanfield (c.1551-1625, English Lawyer & Politician, Lord Chief Baron of the Exchequer 1607-25), George Snigge (1544/45-1617, English Lawyer & Politician, Baron of the Court of Exchequer 1605-17), Edward Bromley (1563-1626, English Lawyer, Judge & Politician, Baron of the Court of Exchequer 1610-26) and one other puisne Baron identified as James Allthany. All of the signatures are bold examples, evidently removed from an official document. Lightly laid down to an oblong 8vo page with an ink annotation with the date of 1616 and incorrect identification of some of the signatures. Irregularly torn to the base of the page and with some very slight staining to the piece, only very slightly affecting a couple of the signatures, otherwise VGProvenance: The present set of signatures previously appeared for sale in a 'Catalogue of an Extensive Collection of Books…comprising numerous articles of rarity and interest….' published by Thomas Thorpe of Covent Garden, London, in 1830 (Item 13178, offered for three shillings; Thorpe also incorrectly identifying two of the signatures).

A Victorian silver stilton scoop, Francis Higgins III, London 1896, with thread pattern handle and engraved crest terminal, 23.5cm long, 3.6ozt CONDITION REPORT: Threading is double struck. A RARE & VERY UNUSUAL ETIENNER DENAMUR DOLL CHOCOLATE BOX, circa 1860, the doll part protruding from the waist out of the top of the box which is in the form of a large hollow boot to present the confectionary, the back and front of the doll's body hooked in a similar fashion to Mr Punch while the reticulating head is of more typical 'pretty' form in painted bisque and having open glass eyes. Has jointed arms to the body and with bisque hands, complete with an ostrich feathered tricorn hat, lace ruffles and covered in patterned silk, the left-hand side silk dyed pink and the right in green - in harlequin fashion perhaps, back of the neck marked 'E3D - DEPOSE', the inside of the waist printed with the logo of 'Boissier' a Parisian chocolatier (still operating today).
